It has a lot of features that I have looked at, such as different color combinations for the fire etc, but I only use the traditional one...the look of normal fire burning. I’ve had a lot of comments and compliments and everyone is impressed at how real it looks and also how calming it is to just sit and enjoy the ‘fire’. I haven’t used the heater part of the fireplace as yet because I have sufficient heat in the room where I have placed the fireplace, but I know that it is capable of providing a lot of additional heat to a room during very cold weather. I recommend this fireplace especially for the low price that Home Depot were selling it for.

As well as brightness and level of the flame. Programmable auto shut off. Fan is a little noisier than I would like though but it puts out decent heat.

Does this need its own circuit panel?

It's plugged into a wall socket that is part of a group of outlets/switches in the electrical panel under a circuit breaker for that area of the house. It has never tripped the breaker.

Was wondering if you have to mount this in the wall and have to hard wire it in or can you mount it just on top wall and plug it in to a normal wall socket.

The unit is portable with 3 prolong plug in one, and when it is wall mounted per the instruction manual, you just plug it in - no hardwire in.

I purchased this fireplace today. I've installed it and everything seems to be working fine, however, there is barely any flame. Is there a problem with my unit?

Just borghi this product and retired once, once i opened the second has the same direct, a lot of noise from the mechanics that triggers the projection of the flames, considering that is my second one, is it normal or I have to return also this one?

No you cannot mount in an interior wall.  You can either use the stand it comes with or mount on the wall. The heat comes through the top.

The cord is visible. I think the only way to hide it would be to make a hole in the wall and feed the plug to the outlet inside the wall.
