Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed, needs a narrower nozzle / higher MPH I bought this blower to upgrade from my 18V Ryobi blower for light snow removal. While the 18V has enough air velocity to pick up the snow, it doesn't move enough CFM to carry it away. This blower has the opposite problem, it moves enough air to carry snow away, but aside from the lightest fluffiest snow the wide nozzle and low air velocity doesn't lift it enough to be able to blow it away. Other notes: - The 6ah battery from the Ryobi 40V lawnmower barely fits under the handle and makes it quite heavy and very unwieldy - The lack of a trigger lock makes it even more awkward - The lag time while it spins up is very annoying

The point of me buying everything Ryobi 40v is that the batteries fit all my 40v tools. Adding this blower to collection with included 4ah was a no brainier. But no, the new 4ah batteries are now different design, why? I purchased 4ah batteries from HD before but now even those batteries are different and don't fit. Now what? I can return this one but what about the rest of the tools? The pics show both 4ah batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic blower with useful power range It's ok. A simple blower with no accessories or options. It has 3 power levels: low and medium on the variable trigger, high on the separate turbo button. These cover my needs well enough for blowing leaves and debris off the lawn or the driveway. It's medium noisy, varying with speed of course. Wish it had a brushless motor for more efficient battery use. It seems heavy compared to my other blowers, and I find the trigger isn't quite properly placed at the balance point, making it bit tiring to hold down. Also the intake is right by your leg and can tend to suck loose shorts against it. But no major complaints, gets the job done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY The item worked really well, but after less than a season I had to call the company and have it replaced, however after one more season after replacement, the charger and battery stopped working. Called the company and they told me that sine it was 1 month past the warranty there was nothing I could do. They BRAG about their products being superior and that they're batteries will last 10 years, but they don't put their money where their mouth is. Save your money and find a different company with a better product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 40v Leaf blower 4.0 battery. I purchased this leaf blower from Home Depot Richmond Hill just this week. I truly did not know much about them, battery capacity, blowing capacity, etc. I'm new to Canada so much of the leaf blowing is new to me. A 4.0 battery and 110 mph blowing seems better than average, well I was very wrong. I have a big yard, front and back, blowing the leaves in the fall should take me about 1 hr, last fall I did it all with a racke, it took me 3 days. I tested the battery on turbo power, as this is the only way it would work for me, it only lasted 12 minutes and the battery died. If if purchased the same 4.0 battery as spare I would need 4 more, that's approximately $1000 on batteries alone. So I'm returning the blower and will buy either a gas or electric corded blower. Needless to say I'm disappointed. This blower and the battery is only suited for a small patio or a small yard. A 6.0 battery would only give you about 18 minutes of turbo power.

Thought the blower was a bit weak at first until I hit the 'Turbo' button then holy heck...did it ever clear everything away then....rocks, branches...everything. If it wasn't for the Turbo button feature, I think I would have returned the blower because it's heavy and only soso with the regular blower button. The Turbo button makes it worth it. Only reason for not 5 stars is because it's heavy.

I purchased this leaf blower yesterday. When I opened the box I found a 2AH battery included not a 4 AH battery as stated on the box and all of the specs I have read on this unit. The box didn't appear to have been opened. Has something changed recently?

For noise level what does medium mean?

It is noisy enough that I don't use it early in the evening. It is considerably more quiet than a gas blower. On low power, it is very quiet.

I have a Ryobi 40v lawnmower and weed Wacker. I have two 40v batteries. One is 5ah and the other is 2.5ah. I understand this blower comes with a 40v 4ah battery. Can I use my 5ah and 2.5ah batteries in this blower?

Just turned it on for the first time and there is a constant low hum / tone rather than just the sound of airflow.  Is this normal?

How long will this run on 40V 6 Ah battery?

It lasts about 30 mins. If you don’t use the full speed the whole time. It’s a great blower for a typical city lot. Not great for a larger property.
