It has performed better than expected, Clears wet snow with ease , and the powder snow is a breeze ( no pun intended) . I have a fairly large area I clear, driveway, sidewalk, deck and patio. So using my 6ah batteries from my lawnmower I can get the light jobs on one battery, heavier snow using the turbo goes through the batteries a little faster. Having 5 ( 2 6ah and 3 4ah) batteries on hand I have no worries. The batteries that come with this unit would be fine for most jobs.

It did a great job not even one sticky, wet leaf left on a concrete surface, our vinyl deck patio. I have never seen such a quiet, noiseless leaf blower in my life. Great Job Ryobi!!!! Thank you for taking care of your customers, and invention, and engineering better toools! I would give 10 stars out of 5 :)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leaf blower and I’m impressed. Had this for approximately one month. I’m impressed to the point where I’m gonna buy more of these products. I have two batteries at four and a six amp. Batteries makes the unit a bit heavy to Carry, but the four amp hour gets the job done. I’m in the market for a snowblower this fall. I’m certainly gonna look at this brand. I live in the lower mainland of British Columbia where the snow was wet and heavy and I watched one toss the snow 20 feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly powerful. Worth it. On turbo it's even strong enough to blow a few inches of (dry) snow off my deck. Turbo does suck down the battery fairly quickly so it's nice having a second battery. Leaf blowing doesn't need turbo. On normal power, there's more than enough battery life to clear leaves off a lawn. Only complaint is that it would be nice if charger used a heat sink instead of a fan or only ran its fan when it's too warm (it's a bit noisy).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent blower for any task. We bought this to replace two gas leaf blowers. This Ryobi is so powerful that it can even peel up flat wet leaves without any problems. Very quiet too. We use it a lot around the yard, the garden, to clean out the dirt in the garage. Great tool but you should consider having two 40V batteries, since one only lasts between 20-30 minutes depending on how strong you use the blower. Highly recommend.

Having two batteries was such a time-saver, you can charge one while you use the other. Lasts about 20 minutes on one charge, at maximum power. Takes about an hour to charge fully. The unit is rather heavy, though, so expect sore muscles. A shoulder strap would be helpful.

Absolutely, Now that winter is coming I’ll use it for blowing the snow off the vehicles as long as the snow is not wet. My only advice is to invest in an extra battery.

How long does the 4.0 Ah battery last on a full charge?

How does it work for snow?
