Tesla no longer includes the Gen 2/3 NEMA 14-50 adapter with new vehicles. This adapter must be purchased separately and is compatible with the Tesla Generation 2/3 Mobile Connector. It features a built-in chip that limits charging to 24 Amps and works with various AC WORKS adapters for custom setups. Nickel-plated contacts prevent rust, and a temperature sensor adds safety.
