Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work Doesn't heat water very quickly, I have less than 1ft of pipe between it and my tap and running full hot water at a slow rate it still takes about a minute to get any hot water, and if you try to turn the tap on to a normal flow it can't keep up. It also randomly turns on when no water is running, seems yo try to maintain a temperature in it's small tank? Piece of junk and not worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mini hot water on demand It won’t hold temperature setting. I’m returning the product. I may try again with a new one...but I’m not sure. I will see what my options are first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice, Concept but product doesnt work I bought this for my workshop studio to supply hot water to the sink I have in my workshop. Installation was easy even though I installed it where I had my old 30Gal Hot water tank. I think This product would be best installed right under an existing sink. I was concerned with the size, wondering how it would perform given such limited space to actually heat with. The unit I received is defective, I can hear it turn on when I run the water but it does absolutely nothing. The water temp coming out is the same as it going in.

The manual for this heater says it uses 12/2 cable. Is that correct for 30AMP?

Asked by: Jonathan
The manual lists the cable size which is generally approved. Standards and regulations vary by country/region. The cable size used must meet your local electrical codes.

Could this be used as a source for heating a small hot tub? We have a tub that gets its heat from the motor, but need supplemental heat on colder nights to keep up.

Asked by: moreheat
no this unit is too small for this application

Is the temperature adjustable or is it preset. With small grandchildren, I need the safety piece of mind along with the convenience.

Asked by: alexlloyd
Yes the temperature is adjustable. There is a button on the front of the unit to adjust the temperature up and down. There is also a built in safety limiting the maximum temperature to 55 degrees C.

what duration or length of time can this model run per use thanks Q

Asked by: quandry
As this is a Point Of Use Tankless water heater, it heats water on demand. You can use it indefinitely. That said, it's performance will vary depending on temperature of the supply water, so if your cold water gets colder after running it for a short duration, then the output of this heater will drop in temperature by same differential.
