Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not big enough for 12" vinyl LP records Thanks to PaulyD19 for noting that the 12.5" dimensions were inaccurate. I measured in the store and found this to be true. Considering that I wanted to store some 12" vinyl LP records in this crate, I bumped up to the slightly larger crate with a 14.5" width (still not accurate, but big enough for my purposes). Now that the crate is home, it is comfortably holding about 30 records without a problem. Easy to flip through. And the bottom slats seem to be handling the weight fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be careful here ... I bought five of these units hoping to use them for my records. The size states 12.5 inches wide. I guarantee this is incorrect. These units are 12.1 inches wide. I measured all five. Incorrect information on the sizing both in the website and label. Had to return all of them. Not impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made a book case with these! These crates were great to use for a bookcase, good price too compared to other stores. But you definitely need to sand these down before staining or painting, there are some rough panels that do show through, over all thought great product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Crates cheaply made Crate is not especially well built. Very cheap materials. I stained 6 crates and used them to build a shelf. They worked fairly well for this project, but would be pretty weak on own.
