The Agri-Fab 44-inch Lawn Sweeper has features different and more effective than ordinary lawn sweepers. It has a unique flow thru bag, unlike other lawn sweeper bags, that fills up the entire bag utilizing the entire 25 cu. ft. of space, so you don't have to dumps as often saving time and gas. Easy to assemble, two tools required. The sweeper hitch also easily adjusts perfectly to the tractor hitch height always having your sweeper in the optimum position for performance. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ready for fall! Bought it before the fall rush and they would go out of stock. Now waiting for the leaves to fall. Assembly was straightforward. I did a test run to make adjustments and found that the lift rod location was directly behind the tractor seat, which makes reaching it awkward. If the support hook was not mounted on the tongue (tow bar), but on the cross-bar, the lift rod would angle toward the side of the driver. The two cylindrical spacers to adjust the tongue to make it level, are a fumbly pain. I made a shim to go between the coupling plates and the tongue so that the two plates at the outer end are closer together and no cylinder spacers are needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a HUGE basket to save time. Assembly was easy enough thanks to the video instructions. The instructions provided in the user guide are a sequence of drawings only. I managed to complete the assembly by myself, but, it would have been faster with an assistant, which is recommended. I cannot imagine how the basket can be filled to its maximum capacity (top). By the time that the leaves reach the screen section of the basket, their weight prevents any more of them to be swept into it. I will try driving my tractor a bit faster next time and see if that makes a difference. With my 1 acre lot to sweep, I'll probably have to empty the basket at least 20 times, but, it's still easier on the back that racking!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Lawn Sweep for the price I bought this in the spring of 2018. I use it about once a week to sweep my lawn (4 acres) it works very well. The height setting of the brush is very sturdy and secure compared to other versions I have used. There was damage to the brushes (permanently deflected) I contacted Home Depot who then provided me with the information to contact the supplier. They sent me out 4 new brushes to replace the bent ones. (very painless to deal with) Some other parts had a bit of paint wear and bends but nothing that effected the product. Seems to be strong and well built. Will be put to the test so will update with any issues. Very competitive cost on the unit for a residential model. Very easy to assemble

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sweeper I bought this sweeper a month ago. The instructions were easy to follow and I put it together in 30 minutes. I was very pleased to see the high quality of the parts of the unit. I've used it in wet and dry conditions with great results. I have over an acre of grass to cut and the lawn is not too level. I found that it works best if you pick up the grass after you finish cutting vice trying to pick it up as you cut...of course, the dryer the grass the easier it is picked up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Preliminary review I purchased this lawn sweeper to alleviate some of the spring time raking rather than for picking up grass. Since I didn't purchase it until late spring I already had most of the lawn raked by hand. My big concern was if it would pick up small twigs and loosen up thatch. I did a small test and I feel that it will do this provided the grass is short enough before using it. There was a small amount of shipping damage when I received it. I don't like the fact that you have to pay shipping costs because it can't be delivered to the store for pickup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Agri-Fab lawn sweeper Great helper, cleans up all my needles, dead grass, leaves and pine cones. No more raking and sore back. If you have a tractor this is a must-have tool. Took about an hour to assemble everything went together extremely well. Hitch connection is a bit clumsy and you have to play with the adjustment settings a bit. A full catcher fits completely in my organic waste bin.

Il fait très bien le ramassage de feuilles et de tout ce qui jonché le sol, la hauteur est ajustable pour balayer plus ou moins intensément. Le balai est entraîné par le mouvement des roues, donc, si le sol est trop humide ou si les feuilles sont très collées sur la pelouse, les roues auront tendance à ne pas bien tourner et le balai ne tournera donc pas bien. Quand utilisé sur sol sec, il fait un très bon travail.

Will this pick up pine cones ?

It will pick up anything on the lawn. As long as the sweeper can sweep it up and throw it into the catcher. The only thing I see it not being able to pick up are wet chunks of grass, wet clumps of dirt, and maybe heavier rocks. But for the most part, it picks up really good.

I am looking to buy this unit to specifically help me with pine needles. I have many pines trees in the backyard and as a result have many pine needles (it becomes quite thick). Would this unit pick up those pine needles?

Thank you for your question. If you mow over them and break them up in smaller pieces The 45-04921 sweeper will pick them up. You may have to go over them more than once if they are thick.
