Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive Kindling-May not be worth buying! Years ago I did half my basement in cottage grade pine T & G wall panels.I decided to complete the other half with the same pine T @ G. I am well aware of defects and knots and imperfections. I was however alarmed at how much and extend of the poor. I am 3 to 4 bundles in and have 7 wall boards that you cannot use other than for fire wood. The item suggests you may have some cut-outs. You cannot cut out a complete split wall board. I have 9" of play that I can cut-out to use. There are sections with no groove, no Tongue that extend in length 1 to 2 feet. My point is, the current standard today is far worse than before. If you are in the range of 35% and above of complete waste it is not worth even buying.You save 50% from premium price but factor in time, hydro, and waste. I can live with a little extra time to cut both ends, and knot defects no big deal. I did not expect this amount of garbage. BTW I even picked through the bundles to look for what was good stuff. In fairness I do understand about the process and sell Cottage Grade. If you cannot use and apply it is below any grade other than firewood. Split pieces, narrow pieces no tongue of groove throughout the 8 foot piece makes it garbage. Will require Defect Cut-out implies you can use the panels with some cut out needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer beware Bought 8 bundles and scrapped 3 1/2 bundles. Pieces were split up the middle, tongue and groves were busted. Knot holes are not sound and had to be cut out, unless you want holes in your finished wall. Had to buy 4 more bundle to finish the job that should have taken only 7 bundles to complete.
