Our smart touchscreen motorized deadbolt lock is as satisfying to operate as it is to look at. Our DB2-B Gold Combo includes our Alfred Connect Wifi Intergration Accessory included in the box allowing you remote access to Lock or Unlock your door from anywhere throught the Alfred App. Also includes Bluetooth connectivity for One-Touch access, allowing you to simply touch the unit while your phone is nearby to open the lock. Comes with Key override cylinder if you still want to have a physical key to carry with you. An optional Z-Wave module allows you to operate the lock remotely using 3rd Party Hubs like SmartThings and Vera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Landlord must need! This combo is a great price and has a beautiful design to it. The instructions they give you are very great and simple to use. There's even a nice 3d model step by step for you instructing you how to install it. It took me less than 20 mins to install this deadbolt. Few things with the Alfred deadbolt you may encounter. The striker plate and the reinforce plate might not allow you to close your door. You can get by with just the striker plate. The app for your phone is very easy and straightforward to use as well.. 1 thing that could be improved is the wifi bridge for the Alfred lock.. as the app takes a little bit to unlock your door where as if you were using a august smart lock their app is a little bit faster. It's great that there is 2 keys that come with it as a backup incase if batteries die or internet/power goes out.. Overall this is a good purchase instead of buying from amazon or bestbuy. you'll be spending more money over there then buying it here on home depot

I never need to find my keys when juggling the kids and a diaper bag 2. We have given codes to our dog walker and cleaner 3. It’s easier to remember a code than keys We installed a second Alfred lock at our cottage and have used it all summer for our rental. From over 2 hours away we can set and change the weekly codes for our guests with ease.

This Combo is a great starter pack with the Wifi Bridge include in the box so I can have remote access of my lock when I’m not home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Very cumbersome to install. The smart part of the lock is worthless. It is very slow to open from the phone. The one-touch feature not working. Only useful feature is the pad. So buy the one that has no smart features. Plain pad is good enough.

How would the lock weather in tropical rains and by the ocean?

Hello Tracee, While all of our locks are fully weather tested, salty and especially moist tropical environments are particularly challenging for any material, let alone electronics. We do have users who live in coastal US and Canada with good success and without issue, though it also good to be cautious in environments such as you described. We have a two year warranty for all of our locks, and will honour replacements over that time span should anything occur under normal use and installation. Like all products or any materials in general, lifespan and durability are going to be most challenged by caustic, corrosive, salty environments so beyond the warranty period these locations will likely increase the wear and tear and overall lifespan of the product.
