Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Looking, but doesn't work in cold conditions It looks wonderful but doesn't hold up in Canadian winters. We got it in August and installed it as per the instructions and worked like a dream until January hit. Even with the insulation it comes with the lock mechanism stopped working. When I tried to lock the door from the outside you can hear it trying to lock but you get an error saying 'door not locked' It's disappointing to have this experience from a product meant for Canadian winters.

As a busy mom, my most favorite feature is the keyless entry - which can be a game changer when my hands are full with the kids, bags of groceries and other stuff. I also like how we can control the lock remotely, and even set up different pins for other users (helpful when you have service or cleaners coming). Overall we are really happy with this device, and it definitely adds a more sophisticated look to our front door!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium finish, premium features I've had an Alfred DB1 for a few years and I recently added the DB2 to my front door. I've exclusively used the DB1 for my basement as we have a detached garage. I wanted to add smart functionality to my front door and the DB2 looked best with my hardware finish. My favorite features is number of pin codes I can use. I have a weekly house cleaner and a daily dog walker. I assign them new codes weekly, and it's been great feature to have. Make sure you buy a wi-fi module as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful design and hi-tech functionality I installed this lock a couple of months ago, and it's not only giving hi-tech security to our home but also adding to the aesthetics. The installation of the lock was easy, we just had to buy a couple of tools to simplify it further. The lock is wi-fi enabled, and it's also easier to operate the lock via phone app. Now we do not have to copy the manual keys for every family member, it's all digital now and easy to manage. I would highly recommend this lock!

Have not needed to use the key once since the touchscreen and lock has performed flawlessly. The battery life is also very good and have yet to change them. I had numerous issues with other smart locks in the past but this one is by far the best on the market.

I no longer have to leave my door unlocked when visitors or contractors come over - I simply assign them temporary pin codes. It's worked flawlessly this entire time and just looks so good on my door. 10/10 recommend!

Has some great features and the wireless option let you get full control of the lock. The one-touch feature is very useful when coming in with groceries or when you have your hands full!
