Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME FAUCET I whole heartedly agree with the last review 2 years ago. It is shame that you discontinued this line of faucets, timeless design with multiple options for style and finishes, could be easily expanded for more options of finishes that are more current without loosing the all the previous options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great design I think its a shame this line is discontued cause this very classic and simply a timeless faucet collection. I think you should bring this back and have some new hot finishes to classic look. IE: brushed gold, matte black , glossy black and even maybe a combo look of gold/black. I eveyone would love this IRIS line and will be viewed as they do of the retrospect and portsmoutn lines

I have replacement cartridges for the Amarilis faucet but am unable to remove the old cartridges from the valve body.  This comes fully assembled when new.  Can I buy new valve bodies?  I have not seen them on any parts list.

Asked by: mom1000
You may use some WD-40 to loosen the valves and if you have corrsion then you can use CLR to break up the corrsion to remove the valves.

424.3 of the International Plumbing Code calls for individual shower valves to be "balanced-pressure, thermostatic" or "combination balanced-pressue/thermostatic" valves. In your catalog most shower valves are thermostatic valves, but no mention is made of "balanced-pressure". Are all you shower valves pressure-balanced?
Asked by: Jerry
The only fixtures we manufacture that balance the pressure on each side, would be our single handle shower faucets.

I want to replace the cartridge and have an amarilis series 028610-0070A part, is there a left cartridge and a right cartridge? when I replace the right cartridge, I cannot get the handle to work as it did before, the faucet handle now is perpendicular with the sink not parallel. I have to turn it parallel to turn the water on. Is this a left side cartridge or is there a way to adjust?
Asked by: Anonymous
The cartridges are interchangeable. If you remove the spring clip off of the cartridge and turn the washer 90 degrees and replace the spring clip it will work properly for you.

I can't tell what the finishes are. It's not shown anywhere. Where can I see the difference between chrome and nickel?

Asked by: cosmology
Chrome is completely reflective, nickel has a much more diffuse refraction. On any of the product detail pages of the website there are images on the right side. Under the images are swatches you can click on to view the different finishes. Some products have images in every finish.
