I had to buy another fluidemaster float to correct the situation. Lesson learned when buying stuff and using them a year later.

The toilet not only works efficiently, but also uses less water, flush very fast. Only thing is: the toilet is not available in the store. I had to order on line, and spent the shipping cost.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Flushing I bought this toilet 3 months ago and I have found that the toilet does not flush completely approx. 10% of the time and takes a long time to fill every time. The incomplete flush can occur regardless of the contents of the toilet. In order to assure it flushes completely you need to hold the handle down. I followed the recommendations in the troubleshooting manual and have not seen an improvement. I think the flapper is closing prematurely but do not know how to adjust. The aggravation of the issue is accentuated by the length of time it takes for the tank to refill. My previous toilet had a tank which was 2x larger and it took less time to refill. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve these issues it would be appreciated.

I am looking for the highest toilet, top of bowl without the seat to the floor. What is the seat height on this one?

Hi Winstonzoe, Our Cadet 3 single flush round front toilet model has a normal height bowl at 15 1/2" from the finished floor to the top of the rim. Any toilet made by American Standard with the description of "right height" in the model name has a bowl height of 16 1/2" from the finished bowl to the top of the rim without the seat. Do you have to hold down the handle to flush?

We have just put this toilet in and I love it, however it seems when you flush you have to hold down the handle (don't like that part about it!)

You do not need to hold the lever down unless you want more water than the specified amount to exit the tank.

Color

I need a bone colored toilet. One of the answers stated that American Std. bone color today is lighter that it was 30 + yrs. ago. I understand Cadet Pro is made in white, bone and linen. Where to find an up-to-date color chart for American Standard? The existing online pics are too small to appreciate differences.
