Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, 5 stars! Great value. So there are a little of back and forth reviews. I bought this toilet because I'm on septic+well where I live and I wanted to save some water. Another huge selling feature for me was the higher than average height. There are some complaints on here about adequate flush amounts in terms of water. If one reads the manual the toilet comes with, it specifically addresses this problem and walks you through adjusting your water amount for your needs or maybe your toilet just needs more adjustment from the factory. I was prepared to have to adjust mine, but it came working perfectly. So there is also the potential that American Standard addressed this problem with the newer batches of toilets. My new toilet came with what I thought was poor paint at the bottom of the bowl but it washed away after a couple uses so don't freak out if it looks like a poor paint job. I have had the boys over since installing it and have yet to throw anything at it that it cannot handle. I love the higher seat, the modern look and the functionality is 100%. For this price point you will be hard pressed to find a better dual flush toilet. If you're looking for one, I recommend it. And I am going to buy a second one for my other bathroom.

The main reasons I choose Cadet 3 dual flush because it conserve water with powerful flush plus the elongated slow close seat was a great feature as well. At the end, I bought a few more units and replaced all the toilet in my house.

Hello Nicola, Yes, the Cadet 3, 2-Piece 6.0 LPF 1.59GPF Dual Flush Elongated Bowl in white is eligible for the Richmond, BC toilet rebate probram as the toilet is a 3.8L/6.0L flush and is WaterSense Certified.

what is the MAP rating

Not sure what the MaP is but this toilet resides in our downstairs bathroom, so it flows out horizontally, have never had an issue with having to flush twice. This is the main bathroom for the men in our home. Need I say more.

Does this toilet have a lined tank.

Toilet installed fine but no water is getting into the tank when the supply line valve is turned on. I confirmed that the water is indeed flowing from the supply line but it's not getting into the tank when hooked up. Absolutely no info on their website.

Possible issues: Check the compression toilet supply line tube that connects the water line from floor or wall to the Toilet to see if the washer or any thing init is blocking the water from entering the fill valve. If so replace that piece. You can test this by removing and adding water to one side and see if the water comes out from the other side. If no water comes out the opening with all of the fill valve parts removed, then there is a clog in the line to the fill valve. There are videos in Youtube on how to do these things.

What is the bolt hole spread for this item? Is it 5.5in?

Hello dsquare1, I am not sure which bolt hole spread you are referring to? Are you looking for the dimension for the bolts that attach the tank to the bowl or the bowl to the floor? Can the toilet bowl water lever be increased. I know of some people that have the higher seat and the water does not fill enough in the bowl and the deposits get on the sides of the bowl

No idea about increasing water level, but we have had absolutely no issues with deposits inside the bowl. Mind you, we clean it regularly.
