I find this toilet quieter than others in the house and refills quickly so there is minimal noise when the babies are sleeping. Very easy to install and made of parts that are replaceable. The old toilet had proprietary parts and a piston system that kept on leaking. Comes with a slow closing lid. Some toilets come with a very cheap wax ring forcing you to buy a better one. Not this model. The wax ring is proper and also comes with all the hardware to install. After 4 years with one, I bought another.

I have now bought 3 of these toilets over a period of 5 years (for two different houses). I've had no issues with any of them. They're very easy to install and work well. The flush is more than adequate. The tank is insulated so no sweating on the outside. No problems with bolts loosening. The slow closing lid is a bonus, as these types of seats are expensive to buy on their own. Yes, it is on the cheaper end of price, but the quality is there. I rate this as the best quality complete round toilet package (base, tank, slow close lid, insulated tank) for the lowest price. No issues with this toilet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceed my Expectations Happy I made the purchase. It had everything I want in a toilet; lined tank to prevent toilet sweat and a toilet seat that is slow to close so you just have to tap it and it will close by itself. The installation was fairly easy. Some people created videos on how to install it just in case you want to see a dry run. It's also nice that some of the nuts and bolts are plastic. Rust decayed my old toilet so it was hard to remove. And last the flushing is awesome. I don't think it uses all the water in the tank to clear the bowl which very economical if you like low flow. You can watch a demo video on what this toilet can flush. After about 6 weeks of use, still love the product.

Of course I purchased it 2 weeks before it went on sale. Watch for sales folks. He said the installation is a breeze. The low flush works great. I don't have to hold the handle down as other mentioned here (they might need to adjust the chain?). It's very quiet. The seat lowers on its own. No problems. The staff were very helpful in the Halifax location. One fellow helped me load it into my car. Would recommend it for a family home. (2 - 3 people live here)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warranty Issues Bought one of these units approx 2 years ago, the bowl has formed a crack on the front edge called American Standard and started warranty claim on the unit followed all of their steps regarding pictures of everything.....all to never hear from them again. You call their phone number over and over again to never talk to an actual person and wait on hold for over an hour. Its ridiculous how the advertise the warranty on this unit and never back it up. Cant wait till the crack let's go while I'm at work and my insurance company sees all the info I've sent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toilet, Great price! Read some other reviews complaining about leaks, etc.....I'm guessing they were installed incorrectly, or bolts/nuts, weren't properly tightened. I installed two of these toilets in the place we bought, installed both in less than 2 hours (and that included removing the old toilets). They work great, look great and so far flush great, and no leaks what so ever. I did notice minor flaws in the casting on the underside that might have been hair line cracks, but simply siliconed them prior to install, and the included wax ring is a little on the cheaper side but overall this is a great toilet for a really great price. Would buy this toilet again in a heart beat

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems from two weeks in I bought this a couple months ago, and two weeks in the tank started having trouble refilling automatically. Sonetimes its good for several days and other times it doesn't refill a dew times in a single day. Each time I have to take the lid off the tank and tap the bobber thing so it drops that one last millimeter to trigger the refill. I now leave the lid off just to minimize the hassle of having to frequently deal with this problem. I would never recommend this product or brand to anyone after this experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tank cracked when installing I bought this toilet last week, as it was a good price for a complete toilet. It was easy to install, however it leaked a bit around one of the tank bolts. I took the tank back off and made sure all of the seals were in place correctly. When I started installing the tank again, it cracked around the bolt before I had got it completely tight. I took it back to the Home Depot at which I purchased it and they told me that they could not do anything to help me because I had installed and removed it. It had water in it for one night and I ended up having to buy a second toilet. Overall it appears to be a good product, I think I just got one with a slight defect around the tank bolt hole. I was disappointed that two large companies like Home Depot and American Standard were unwilling to stand behind their products better than this.
