Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Classic Steel Tub Good tub. Arrived with small dent in corner, otherwise would rate 5 stars. Not as deep as the average acrylic tub but makes up for it in durability. Came in same week of placing order after an acrylic tub that was ordered beforehand was massively delayed. If you are in a RUSH to reno a bathroom consider this the ONLY option, almost all plumbing fixtures are on backorder due to manufacturing restrictions and high demand.

Never installing a fiberglass tub again To much cleaning maintenance needed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for When they glued the box shut, the glue got all over the front of the tub. There was a chip in the enamel on 2 of the corners and random cut outs in the corners that made it hard to ensure it was sealed properly from water.

I measure, from wall to wall, 4' 10 1/4", will this tub fit?

we bought this tub and find it is very slippery. Have tried 2 different bath mats and several non slip adhesive strips that all come off and /or causing slipping when standing on. Is there some special product that is used to adhere non slip products ?

No tried everything myself and had the same issue.  Finally bought a vinyl tub mat with deep suction cups at home sense, placed In tub when wet, had to press each suction cup down individually and this seems to be working.  Good luck.  These tubs are extremely slippery.....

Why is it called "irregular" when right-handed drain is selected, and "rectangular" when left-handed drain is selected? Is this a typo/autocorrect or is there something odd about the right-handed drain selection?

what is the distance from the drain to the centre of the overflow?

If you're looking for water depth, 10.5 to 11 inches (27 to 30 cm) (not sure because the actual overflow hole is hidden behind the cover). If you're looking for the length of the plumbing pipes, I don't know.

Where a strip of styrofoam was glued to the edge of my steel tub for shipping, there is a residue of glue and styrofoam. I asked at the store how to remove it and they said it should just peel off, but it doesn't. What should I use?

Packaging foam usually just peels off, rubbing alcohol should take off any residual glue. This product has a sound proofing Styrofoam pad on the bottom of the tub that should not be removed. Should you have additional questions please call toll free American Standard Customer Care 1-800-387-0369

I'm trying to mark the exact location of the drain. it's 15" from the sides, how many inches from the end? I'm guessing around 9". I need to determine if my existing drain pipe needs to be moved if I replace the existing 60"x30" tub with this one.
