Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diverter fails in less than one year This is a beautiful, solid looking tub spout. Its long length meant that the flow of water cleared the wide side of the bathtub and fell directly into the tub. It cleans easily. However, the shower diverter is of very poor quality. Ten months after it was installed, it no longer sent water to the shower when the diverter knob was pulled up. Water kept flowing to the tub. American Standard replaced the spout (for free) under warranty. Installation was my responsibility. The replacement spout was identical and lasted nine months before it also failed in the same way. American Standard now has a repair kit available which they are sending to me. If you haven't bought this spout, choose something else. Save yourself the chore of replacing or repairing it regularly.
