They liked the shape better for this one, round all around except for in the front. The handle is smooth and easy to turn on and off without using grubby hands. Decent water flow, and not any splashing I can remember. Great Buy Too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could Be Better First off, the valve appears to be very well made, and I have no quibble with the function of the faucet. But there are things not seen in the photographs that appear in the installation instructions, so read those before buying. I didn't, and this is what I was not expecting: The vertical part of the faucet is made to install in either of only two heights, for a normal sink and a very tall vessel. That is done by using a two-piece vertical section. The "extension" fits into the main section, but on the one I got the two have slightly different profiles, and do not appear to have been finished as one piece. Fortunately, the junction will be behind the bowl. The design creates problems if an intermediate height is needed, and that means extensive custom metal work. Additionally, the included drain is designed for a vessel that has an overflow built into the bowl. Again, I had not anticipated that, so I am having to select a different drain at added expense. My bath's vessel is granite.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect Design, Some Functional Issues Finding the right faucet for my Duravit sink was a challenge. My client and I love this Monoblock handle as it was the perfect match. The only problem that I have with this design is the drain plug mechanism. I forget the name they have for this, but is a plastic quick-connect system with a cable. It doesn't always work. Had to have the part replaced.

A grid drain does not have a stopper that raises or lowers, it is simply a grid that allows the water to flow through it.

Unfortunately no, there is no other drain we offer. Also, you can certainly try a universal drain, but there really is no way we can determine if a universal part would work with our products.
