Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking, not much else... It took me a long time to find a faucet that I liked and could also afford. This one seemed to fit the bill. I was torn b/c this brand has gotten some negative reviews being that it's changed ownership many times and the parts are no longer made in America. We decided to roll the dice on this one because I loved the look. After being installed for 3 weeks, I am already seeing rust around the drain. I expected we'd have trouble b/c I was warned but not 3 weeks in! It also drips. I purchased a new faucet from a different manufacturer and will not be able to use the sink in fear that water around the handles will rust the marble, too. If I could give this faucet negative stars, I would.

We haven't yet installed it, as we've hit a few road blocks with our remodeling. The quality appears to be really, really good. Strong and durable. I'll leave another review after this is installed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient it is not.... But I wasn't looking for convenient, I was looking for a faucet that would complement my Art Deco sink. So what that you can operate a single handle when single handles are so ugly? I haven't had this faucet long, but it does what is supposed to. I think the cross handles are great and achieve the look I wanted.

Is 1 3/8" for the hot and cold and 2 3/8" for the spout MAXIMUM or MINIMUM?

Asked by: Amyincle
Amyincle, Neither, it is the exact measurement. I will attach a copy of the spec sheet for you. https://www.americanstandard-us.com/-/media/sites/asus/files/product-specs/bathroom-sink-faucets/2017/portsmouth-widespread-bathroom-faucet-7415801-7415821/specsheet-7415801-7415821.pdf?la=en Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team

The spec sheet list 1 3/8" as the max size for the holes, but a previous question indicated that 1 3/8" as the answer for the minimum size for the holes. Is 1 3/8" the maximum or the minimum size for the holes? Does this apply to all three holes?

No, these cross handles are not ADA compliant. You would need wrist blade handles to make it ADA compliant.

Just had this installed and the crosses turn backwards, that is clockwise to turn on. and counter clockwise to turn off on both sides. Was it intended to work this way?

Asked by: CBJay
The cartridge is interchangeable so they will work either way. You will need to remove the spring clip and move the washer 90 degrees and replace the spring clip. They will work the correct way then.
