Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and ease of installation Very impressed with the quality, but even moreso the modern means of installation. No more plumbers putty, the attachment hardware was top notch and easy. As a do-it-yourselfer, I had a cheap builder installed faucet swapped out in no time and everything fit with no problems. Most importantly, when I turned the faucet on, it worked perfectly. Nothing feels cheap about this faucet and the attaching hardware made this job a joy. I highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oil Rubbed Bronze is Wearing Off Few Months Put this unit in our bathroom to replace the old American Standard Faucet. Within a couple of months the oil rubbed coloring is rubbing off to reveal plastic on the pull for the drain and the handles where the screw goes to hold it in place. We are using non corrosive cleaners and it still is rubbing off. I didn't expect it to be a rubbed bronze paint job on plastic. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love IT The faucet was simple to install. It looks great on the sink. The water flow is great. I even replaced the water lines. Looking for this installation to last about 30 years.

I went with American Standard for the whole bathroom remodel, they're good products. The interesting thing about this bath faucet is that the pop-up is operated by a cable and gear system instead of the usual - always annoying - lever type pop-up. No adjustment needed, just screw it together and it works properly. The whole thing was simple and quick to install, with no difficault to reach parts or complex assemblies. You don't even need to use plumbers putty, just some teflon tape. Looks great, functions perfectly.

Fit and finish are very good. I like the cable operated drain function-it operates smoothly and takes up much less undersink space than the old mechanical linkage type. The faucet handles also operate smoothly and precisely. The stream of water coming out of the faucet is easily regulated, and forms a tight column of water.

I put replacement cartridges in and they look identical to the old ceramic valves, however, the cold water one turns on in the shut off position and off in the on position. My bathroom sink is clogged and I would like to remove the drain piece (stopper) to remove any hair clogs, before putting Drano down there. Is there a simple way to disconnect the "quick connect" drain? PS. The finish is gold.

Asked by: Joy the Plumber
On the underside of the sink, where the cable attaches to the drain, you will need to unthread the gray plastic part of the cable. Once you have removed this, there will be a little plastic cam assemble that will just pop out of the side of the drain. After removing this the stopper should just slide right out.

On a Princeton 2-handle 4" centerset faucet the cast locking nut that holds the hot water A954120-0070A cartridge in place broke, causing the cartridge/handle to come off.  I don't see that locking nut on this site. Where can I get one?
