Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont buy this. Dont buy this nailer. The nail lock trigger pin is so tiny and requires so much pressure to compress, it renders the gun useless. Save your money, paperweights can be purchased for much less.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only good for SOFT wood This is only gud for softer wood (baseboard and trim) and CANNOT be used on hardwood for nailing planks. The nails just don't go in! Also note that the majority of reviews here are from paid promotions, so do NOT rely on the high star ratings. This gun is for very light use only and pretty much useless as an all-rounder.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, but wouldn't do the job I bought it for I bought this last week to install 3/4" inside quarter round above my kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, the head was much to wide to get in to do the job. The safety would not release, no matter how hard we tried to get it to work. Ended up having to use my son's compressor model which has a very narrow head. Tried on some outside quarter round, and if that is what you want it for, it did a credible job. I will return this tool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Toy nailer Underpowered. Was unable to drive 3/4 Brad's through 1/2" OSB into spruce stakes at max power. The safety mechanism requires the gun to be absolutely flat, it's almost impossible to drive nails at any angle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inadequate Didn’t set brads deep enough in most applications. And yes a shorter brad would penetrate appropriately but, in the case of my baseboards, is not deep enough to affix to the studs. I will opt for a more powerful gun. On the plus size … super lightweight and easy to use

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well and stronger than my old nailer Home Depot curb side was great-much faster than wave 1. Nailer is better than my current mode and able to do the max brad nails 1.25 inch, but still left a bit of the head exposed going through mdf baseboard. Suspect will be more than sufficient for my smaller woodworking trim that my previous model struggled with over 1/2. Look forward to using this stronger one overall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Less than a year of use I have purchased 3 of these now over three years and while the product is good and works well…it doesn’t work for a long time. None of the three have lasted even one year and it is infuriating because at this point I could have bought something more expensive in hopes that it would have lasted longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO POWER bought it to install some baseboard 1/2" MDF would not sink in had to use a nail set poor quality

Can this be used for a carpet runner on the stairs ?

Asked by: Joe1
No I don't believe it would as the size of the nailhead is small. I used it for baseboards and it worked alright!

Can I use this for shingling?

Asked by: Kevin
Hello, This tool fires brad nails from 5/8" to 1.25 inch". Shingles require a roofing nail, which has a 3/8”, very thin, flat head. Hope this helps. -- Your Arrow Fastener team

Is this nailer adequate for installing 5/16" tongue and groove pine? Must be an electric nailer

Asked by: JGTT
No it isn't. Spend your money on anything else. This nailer hasn't worked from day one. Got stuck not being able to return it due to Covid restrictions. It would make a great paperweight though.

What size brad nails does this do, and can you use an extension cord with it?

Asked by: oceangirl
Hello, Thank you for your question. The Arrow ET200BN fires Arrow BN1810CS (5/8”), BN1812CS (3/4”), BN1816BCS (1”) and BN1820 (1 ¼”) brad nails. You can use an extension cord with this tool. However, note that a cord of 25-feet or longer may have an affect on voltage. Is this nailer adequate for installing 5/16" tongue and groove pine?

Asked by: JGTT
I think you should go for a more powerful one, I regret buying this one. All nails stick out and need hammering after to push in.
