hello- I would like to install these on a wall over an electric fireplace, which has a picture hanging over it.....could i drill or hammer a small hole in the tile without cracking it or totally ruining it? Thankyou!

I have been eyeing these tiles for over a year. 1. How do you clean them if behind stove as backsplash? 2. What do you recommend as a finished edge if open on each end or along top and not touching corner of wall? 3. Are these ok behind a woodstove?

You can use our Aspect Edge Trim components to help hide any cut edges of your panels, we make them in coordinating finishes to pair with your tiles. Our panels are class A fire rated so they can withstand up to 140 degrees as long as they are kept 6" away from a direct heat source, such as a burner. If placed closer, or an area reaches over the temperature threshold it may cause the adhesive to fail. Can these go ontop of existing tiles? And how do they fair above the shower? (No water can reach but just steam from the shower)

Thank you for your interest in our products! We do not recommend installing our Medley Slate Peel and Stick Stone Backsplash tiles in a shower setting as they are not a waterproof tile. In addition, the stone is natural and unsealed and water spots may appear if placed in an area with constant and direct water contact. Hi I am wondering how well these hold up overtime? Also I am wondering how much I would need for 15 square feet of coverage. And is it made with actual stone, does it feel like stone. Thanks for your help.

The panels cover just under 1 sq. ft. per tile, so a four pack will cover just under 4 sq. ft. of project area. The panels are manufactured with an aggressive adhesive, meant for a permanent application. We recommend purchasing a 10% over for project needs. Can they be places around a fireplace? Are they heat resistant?

Our Medley Slate 4 Piece Peel and Stick Stone Backsplash Tile and adhesive are class A fire rated and can stand up to 140 degrees as long as they are kept 6" away from a direct heat source (such as a burner or open flame).
