Luckily I noticed before we left. No big deal... just something to watch for if you order also. The major downside was that the directions were nowhere to be found. Not a good start. Luckily we were able to find them online. After that, all was good. They took a while to do - but look amazing and are perfect for our basement bathroom with a shorter ceiling height. We haven’t used the shower yet as we just finished the install last night - but we can’t wait!

My advice is to pay the extra for a custom shower door. I gave it a one star, simply because the site would not allow for a "NO" star rating.

Hi, I have a fiberglass shower insert with a 42" opening and was wondering if these door hinges and brackets will mount on the door frame which is about 2.75 inches wide? thank you.

If your finished alcove width at max point(s) is 42-in, then yes - this beautiful NAUTIS 42-in x 72-in Completely Frameless Shower Door will fit, providing your alcove is relatively in plumb. If you have studs behind your opening alcove that are 2.75-in wide than that will work. Due to the heavy nature of the tempered, thick premium glass and steel hardware, wall studs are typically required for a safe, secure installation. Aston recommends, if not requires, professional installation by a licensed contractor with at least two adults in the process. Do not DIY this unless you are experienced. Thank you!

Can this door be installed with the hinges on the left (keeping the stationary panel on the left as well)?

Does it come with the glass shelf as listed in the user Manual?

Thank you for your inquiry. The Nautis Collection has two versions - One being the Nautis and the other the Nautis GS (GS for glass shelves). The manual actually covers 3 installations "Style A" for the Cascadia collection (hinged door only), "Style B" for the Nautis (hinged door and stationary panel; Top Brace/no shelves) and "Style C" for the Nautis GS (hinged door and stationary panel; shelves/no Top Brace). The components that are included with the Nautis are covered under "Diagram B" on page 3 of the installation manual. Please follow Pages: 5-8 and 9-14 in the manual for installation.

Do you need to install that bar at the top? Also why is the same door with the included shelves cheaper?

Thank you for your interest in the NAUTIS Completely Frameless Shower Door Collection. The top support bar is required for stability for larger fixed glass panels, such as the one in the 57 x 72-in. model. When installed, the bar is not as intrusive as most homeowners think, and the overall completely frameless design of the NAUTIS becomes a centerpiece of one's bathroom design. Aston highly recommends, if not requires, professional installation with at least two adults in the process due to the heavy nature of the glass and adjustability process. My opening is 69.5, will this fit or is it too small?

Thanks for reaching out. The Aston Nautis models have 1" width adjustability (-3/4" and +1/4"). The 69" model will accommodate finished openings ranging from 68 1/4" up to 69 1/4". If your finished opening is 69 1/2" you would need the 70" model to accommodate your installation.
