Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, other than... The glass door is nice and thick, and the hardware is strong and beautiful. Instructions were clear enough, and the door went up in less than an hour. I'm almost entirely happy with the purchase. My only complaint is with the plastic piece that sits on the opposite wall from the hinges and is supposed to provide the seal when the door closes. We didn't get it positioned perfectly the first time (which would be pretty hard to do), but we didn't push it on the wall with any kind pressure. Still, the stickiness has vanished and I'm not sure how to get it to stay in place!

It comes with two glass shelves and I only inslatlled one due to the size of the shower cause the shelves make the shower interior even smaller.. the only issue now I’m left with hole in the glass that is predrilled and there is no option for if I just wanted to put a cap on it.. now I’m searching for a cap to fill the hole cause I didn’t come with one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Quality Door with Caveats Nice quality door and hinges. The door stop strip is garbage with the thinnest 2 sided tape they could find as an adhesive strip. The hinge design lacks foresight, as the space between screw holes is too wide for the 1 1/2" width of a stud on edge, instead it requires the wall stud installed width wise. This would be a huge issue for installation on an existing shower that is not new.

As the shower was almost finished and there was no way to send it back and ask for a new one, our contractor had to twist the anchors to the wall. It worked but you can see that one of the hindges is not right. Clearly a lack of quality control at manufacturing, and a shame given the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful glass door It’s a beautiful solid door, the quality is definitely there, I highly recommend it as it sure makes the bathroom look luxurious! The reason I gave it a 4 stars is the door stopper is very cheap and fell off after a week, we have it taped until we figure out to buy another, our door was installed by our contractor and the tiles were cleaned and dry so no reason for it, he couldn’t believe such a beautiful had such cheap door stopper. I tried to reach out to company but no luck.

What is the dimensions of the glass?

The dimensions of the glass for this specific model is approx. 23.75" x 72" without its installation or decorative hardware. Professional installation is highly recommended, if not required, with at least two adults taking part in the process. This is not a 'DIY' project for the vast majority of homeowners. Thank you!

My door opening is 33 1/8 wide I want to know is the glass 33 wide? if not can you tell me the width of the glass as I realize that a 33 " glass is slightly to large to work in the opening. A quick response is appreciated.

Thank you for your question, the measurement 33" is the finished installed dimension, not the width of the glass. please explain how the self centering hinges work. I assume that the door remains closed when you close the door to have a shower but does it stay open when its opened to walk in or out??

A self-centering hinge is a hinge that returns the door to rest at an exactly centered position. If the door is moved an inch or two in, it will automatically return to close in an exactly centered position.

When properly installed, the NAUTIS GS Completely Frameless Shower Door Collection features an outwards-only swinging door entry and exit. It is reversible however, meaning it can be installed either left or right-handed. The Cascadia Collection by Aston is a completely frameless single panel hinged shower door designed for installation in an existing shower alcove. This door is available in a number of sized to accommodate a variety of openings ranging from 22 to 38 inches in width. The Cascadia is constructed with 3/8” thick tempered safety glass which meets ANSI standards and durable stainless steel hardware. This door comes ready for installation including all installation hardware (hinges, handle, screws and wall anchors) and full length clear seals to prevent water from escaping during use. The door is heavy and the hinges must be attached to the studs or to pre-installed 2x6 wood reinforcement behind the wall. When taking measurements from the alcove in which you are installing the door. The alcove must be finished, i.e., the tile or surround must be installed to accurately measure the opening width. Width adjustability pertains to the minimum and maximum width that this door can be adjusted to fit or “wiggle room”, if you will, provided by the seals and hinges when the door is fully installed. The minimum finished opening that the Cascadia 28” door will fit is 27 ¾” and the maximum opening that the Cascadia 28” door will accommodate is 28 ¼”.

Is this door for a 33" opening or is it exactly 33" wide? My opening is 33 7/16". Will this door work? How much space is required on the hinge side and on the opening side from the glass to the wall?
