Prime the substrate with ELASTOCOL STICK or EXTERIOR PRIMER. Position the membrane parallel to the lower edge of the roof. Fold the sheet, to half of its width, or 50 cm (20 in) over the whole length already positioned. It is recommended to kneel on the unfolded portion of the membrane to keep it in place during this operation. Remove the protective film from the folded section while placing the membrane on the support. The pressure-sensitive portion will then adhere to the support. Then take the other side of the membrane and repeat the previous two steps. Immediately apply pressure on the membrane using a heavy metal roller or hard rubber roller to ensure adhesion between the support and the membrane and avoid forming bulges, folds or gaps. Use non granulated side portion of the membrane to ensure a good overlap of about 10 cm (4 in) from each edge. The overlap must be positioned on the upper side of the slope.
