I had prepared the panel backing before hand, which meant a whole lot of modifying. This should be clearer in the advertisement.

Can this product be cut to size and painted?

You can cut it, but it may not look that good as it is square with a thick boarder and the pebbles are not uniform making it hard to have a cut without cutting through the pebble cutouts. You can cut down the boarder with a saw as it is thick plastic.  As for painting it, they come in three colours - white, grey and black.  I would not suggest painting it, but if you have to you will definitely need to use spray paint.

Are there screw holes for mounting. Would this work as a privacy screen between deck posts?

Yes, it works very well for this and is beautiful. No pre-drilled holes. I used white head screws. If you provide email address, can show you a photo. This message will not allow me to attach.
