Could this be attached the the back of a passage door?

It would depend on the type of door and if the material the attachments were anchored into could support the weight of your hoses and accessories on the Vacaddy 2.0. It would not be recommended for an interior hollow core door, but a solid core door would not have a problem. A door hanger is not included with the unit.
