I used Behr exclusively, both inside and out. I recently bought a quart each of 3 exterior color to do a test gable end on my newer home in Pooler, Ga. prior to getting the paint for the whole home, and the quarts covered the older (10+ years) in 1 coat, and looks great- just waiting to see if y'all are going to run a Memorial Day sale this year!!

I have an older Ceder  deck  I’m going to sand down Some what  , can I use this paint on my deck ? And can I use the  BEHR transparent penetrating oil wood finish on top of that , to help protect the painted  deck from walking marks ? Thx

Hi K eye. Thanks for writing in with your questions. As it turns out, our Premium Plus Exterior Paint line isn't recommended for decks or floors. Also, our Transparent Penetrating Oil Wood Finish is only recommended directly over bare wood. If you prefer a solid color look similar to paint, I recommend our Premium Solid Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer. This is a water-based coating that is great for wood decks and doesn't require an additional topcoat to protect the coating. Have a nice day! -Joni
