Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHUNKY PAINT AGAIN I have been using for years because its carried by HD and they push it. About 8 years ago I got a batch full of chunks and Behr sent a refund, they were great. January of this year we bought some for my daughters new home and it was full of chunks, we are still waiting for a resolution. This week I bought 3 cans for my master bedroom that was full of chunks. I worked so hard to get the walls perfect only to open up a can of chunks and spread it all over my perfect walls. I don't want a refund but just to let you know I have learned my lesson, I am out, sell your paint to someone else I am going back to Benjamin Moore

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement for CIL This paint was awful. We started with a similar CIL paint and when we returned to get more, we were told that home depot no longer carried that paint. They recommended this paint and it is terrible. Absolutely no covering power. It goes on sticky and takes 3 to 4 coats to cover compared to the CIL paint which takes 1 to 2 coats covering nicely and smoothly. I would NEVER use this paint again. If I wasn't so embarrassed by the results I would include photos of the poor covering ability of this paint. It also costs MORE than the CIL paint!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Non stick paint Recently finished my basemen and ,used this paint through out. It was tinted a light grey and it went on nice, and looked good. Had to do numerous touch ups on all the door, window and base trim which I had already painted white before I installed them. Used green Painters Tape to tape the walls around all the trim that I had to touch up with the white trim paint. Anyway after I had finished touching up the trim with the white paint, I proceeded to remove the painters tape that was on the walls around the trim. Everywhere I pealed off the tape numerous little flecks of the grey Behr paint came off with it. The paint came off down to the primer. All around my doors, windows and floor trim I had little white spots where the Behr grey paint came off. I was not impressed The Behr grey paint was on the walls for at least a month prior to my touch up paint job. Plenty of time to dry and cure. I had put on 1 coat of Behr drywall primer on the walls and then put on 2 coats of the Behr grey paint. So there was enough paint that I shoudn't have had this issue. Had to touch up all the little spots that the tape created. Again, was NOT impressed. For this reason I will not use this paint again

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap and thin I bought 3 cans to update my living room. When I pulled the green painter's tape off, it ripped big chunks of the paint off. Barely touch the wall, and the paint scratches off to show the old colour underneath. Definitely not worth $43 a can, should be half that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT use a pad painter with this paint We had a horrible experience with this product using a pad painter. First, it would not cover the old paint. We could not cut in with a brush because the paint would not adhere. A second coat did not cover completely, either, contrary to manufacturer's advertising. Second, although we painted with A/C on --temperature and humidity well within manufacturer's limits-- we could not keep a wet edge, and could not clean up misses because it dried so fast. Third, if we increased the paint on the pad to improve coverage, we'd find it would have run after 20 minutes, even though partially dry. Fourth, when attempting to remove the drips, we nicked the paint. It came off in sheets, pulling off all previous paint including the primer-sealer we used, right down to the drywall compound. It will be one of the most expensive and troublesome products I've ever used in our 2 apartments and 3 houses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coverage and quality for the price Great paint for the price. Big test will be how well it can stand washing. Coverage is better than expected and purchased too much paint for the room!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hiding ability tinted to a medium grey colour. Only required one coat over a light grey colour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor coverage I am painting a darker color over a lighter color, three coats on and looks like it will need two more coats

I just painted a beige wall with a light yellow medium base behr flat paint and primer. After four coats it still did not cover properly. It is very spotty. Can you tell me why your product covered so poorly? I gave up after the fourth coat.

Asked by: newfoundman
Hi newfoundman, thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear that you did not get good coverage. Typically, our Premium Plus Paint will cover in two coats, while darker colors and porous surfaces may require additional coats. Some colors will also require a tinted primer to reduce the number of coats needed. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly for further assistance. Our customer care team is happy to help you! -Giovanna

What is the difference between deep or medium base?

Asked by: OhYeah
Hi OhYeah, Deep bases are for dark/bright colors like black and bright yellow. Medium bases are for colors in the medium-shade range. Both medium and deep bases must be tinted before use. I hope this information was helpful. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions you may have. Best of luck with your project! ~Doris
