Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, keep wet after applying Worked great. Make sure you follow instructions properly, the wood needs to stay wet while the chemicals are working so it is best to do it early morning or early evening when the sun is weaker

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it worked well it worked very well. onething to notice though, you really need.to shake it well before applying. then use the pressure wash, the old stain xan be easily peeled off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does NOT work! I bought this since the guy at home depot said I needed it to take off my existing paint. He advised to apply and keep it for 20-25 minutes and then rinse off, all the paint should come off. Absolute BS. Today is my third day I’m spending on just taking off the existing paint, fourth application since I already paid for the products (wood stripper and wood cleaner). Such a bummer that i’m really hopeful the fourth application does something. Don’t waste your money, I thought all Behr products were great just based on their interior paints I used before. Very disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a bummer I bought this with high Hope's ans a budget. The price was great but even after 2 applications, it nearly got any paint up. I followed the tutorials and prepped appropriately. Still have alot of work to do and disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Absolutely Nothing, waste of money I ignored the bad review , but this product is really bad as I followed exact instructions with no result, spend 3 hours woking and spend money for nothing all wasted, not enough safety instructions on the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chemical Burns - Hands and Leg I wore gloves but had shorts on when I applied the stripper. The chemical ate through the gloves and burnt my hands. I have a fingernail that turned yellow and a fairly large burn on my leg. As others, I would NOT use this product again and believe the instructions should be further expanded and highlighted. It will take three weeks of applying ointments on my burns before my hands and leg improve. So for, it's been two weeks of treating the inflammation and soars. I just hope my deck improves as I intend to wait to treat the wood and probably won't be using any Behr product. Very unhappy as I normally don't write reviews. Ron

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't waste your money or your time I normally Find online reviews to be not always actuate. maybe just rookie do it yourselfers. But no not this time every one is right this product is the worst Stripper I've ever used. last time I did my deck I used a different Product that I can longer find in Canada. I am at a loss because this project is now taking far too much of a short summer.

An older version of this product (Behr Wood Stain & Finish Stripper) that I have on hand does NOT not remove existing Behr Semi-transparent acrylic stain from my deck. Is the current version of this product formulated to remove acrylic stain??

    Asked by: Robert
Hi Robert, Thank you for your question. This product has not been reformulated, and was designed to remove exterior latex, oil-based and 100% acrylic coatings. If the stain on your deck is still in good condition, we recommend applying our wood stripper at full strength (1 gallon for every 50 sq. ft.). It's also best to apply this product in small test area to ensure product performance. Best - Sara

will stain remover damage any outdoor furniture or siding if splashed

    Asked by: Anonymous
yes it does. Ironically it did very little to remove the paint off my stairs but it tarnish the finish of the aluminum railings where it splashed a bit.

what colour best suits my bathroom

My bathroom has a gray tub and toilet - white cabinet with white, gray, black counter top with gray blinds - builders paint on the wall - what colour should I paint my bathroom? I was advised to paint it gray be cause any other colour would highlight the gray tub, toilet - help what colour do you suggest I paint my bathroom?
    Asked by: Anonymous
If you like the whole monochromatic idea then sure, paint it grey. But seeing as your entire bathroom is neutral it could definitely use a splash of colour. I think a slate blue (possibly the same tone as your tub and toilet) would be stunning. It would pull from the grey tones, still be fairly neutral and is a very easy colour to decorate/accent with.
