Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Product STINKS This product was applied last summer as per the instructions! It took two coats, the label said it covers in 1! We are very, very disapointed that we have to purchase another product this year, & start all over! What a waist of money!! My deck looks as if we had never stained it! In most places it litteraly peeled OFF! In others it has just disapeared! After pressure washing the only place that still has any stain to speak of is under our deck box! I will never purchase another BEHR product again! PS. This is the second BEHR product we have purchased that has failed to live up to the standered of quality they advertise!

The basic stuff still applies, Clean the surface, make sure old paint is removed etc. Unless all the proper steps are taken before the coat of paint is applied no paint will stay on for long. BEHR is all I buy now...I would give it 6/5 stars but cant.
