This Queen Murphy Bed can be slept on every night. The bed folds up and down safely thanks to the dual piston system. The bed accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12-inches thick, 45-90 lb, 60 x 80-inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including mattress). The open bed extends 93-inches from the wall. Assign a clearance of 30 to 36-inches around the open bed. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 90.4-inches. Each Shelving Unit comes with 2 fixed shelves for stability, and 3 adjustable shelves to adjust the unit. Each shelf supports up to 30 lb. Durable drawers hold up to 25 lb each.
