It is well designed and works perfectly. The infa red heat is very pleasant, not stiffing. The sauna is more comfortable with a back rest. The instructions are minimal so if you are not a handy person, it would be good to have someone with you who is. It does assemble easily but 2 people are needed. I use this sauna every day and love it. C. Lyons, J. Veneziano

Let me give you just a few tips about putting it together, as the instruction manual is either a little out dated or just wrong. 1) The instruction manual and the door handle, remote, etc. are inside the roof panel in a box. I didn't even realize this until I was ready to put the roof panel on. I had gotten the assembly instructions online and thought they forgot to pack the door handle and remote. 2) The bottom floor is wood with two quarter round strips on it. The instruction manual says something about look for the grooves as you'll use that for the bench. Ignore that. The left and right side panels have the grooves that the bench panel floor assembly will slide into. There are no grooves in the quarter rounds and further more, when you look at the quarter round strips they should be horizontal to you looking from the front. The instruction manual has them vertical running up the sides. That is incorrect. 3) The door panel AND the frame mounting pieces had to be disassembled and flipped. They were installed upside down from the factory. Another user mentions this as well and I thank him for his input in giving me the heads up before hand. It took me about 15 mins to do them all with an electric screwdriver. 4) The front panel can be installed last, but you have to un-clip a left or right panel to do so. Another user said this as well in her comments. The reason for this is the instruction manual says they use clips to connect it to the left and right side panels. It does not. It uses metal insertion prongs to connect to both the left and right frames. Flip these on the front panel and flip these on the left and right panels and you will be good to go. It is a real pain getting the front panel connected to the left and right panels because the front panel is very heavy with the glass involved. You will need to un-clip one of the side panels to install the front panel so you can insert the prongs into the metal holder assemblies. 5) The instruction manual doesn't even mention the long decorative wood piece that is to go into the top of the front panel at the very end. This is after you install the roof cover and everything. Make sure the little metal piece that is connected to this decorative piece is at the top. You will put the two studs from the decorative piece into the top of the top panel and then screw in the metal piece into the roof cover. 6) The instruction manual does not tell you in detail that you need to install the bench seat with the two screw holes at the rear of the bench. Use a couple of wood screws to screw them into the small running piece that the bench seat sits on top of. Extra screws are in the box that has the remote and door handle in it. 7) I tipped the delivery guy 20 bucks just for bringing the box up the driveway into my garage. He did not have to do that. This is a curb side delivery and the box is very big and very heavy. He could have left it at the end of the driveway. Just a suggestion if your driver does the same. 8) The speakers work amazingly well for my taste. If yours pop it may be the aux cord. Get a good one and a good connection and you should be good to go. The ambient lighting is cool. A great feature and I enjoy it. I gave this a 4 and not a 5 because the inaccuracies in the instruction manual were frustrating. It took me a couple hours to unbox fully and assemble this because of what I mentioned above (flipping the front panel mounting parts, etc.) I stuck with the 4 because the sauna does work well. It heats up quick and after 20 minutes in it I could ring out a towel from the sweat (sorry but just letting you know it works well). I was pleasantly surprised with how hot it got and how quickly. Others mentioned a gap at the bottom of the glass door that you may want to put weather strip on but I did not have this problem. This was a quality purchase and I am happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sauna ever Arrived on time. Easy to put together with two people holding the ends. Two people fit depends on how wide you are... lights are awesome and speakers are crystal clear. Heats up in just a 15 mins if that at. all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the best purchases i've made thus far The sauna was a great buy for me. I can't rate it a 5 star because i've only had for less then a month now. But it does everything that I need it to do. It heats up pretty quickly, yesterday I had it at 126 degrees. It was fairly easy to set up. I enjoy the speakers and the MP3 hook up although the speakers can crackle at times, just keep your volume at a moderate level and you should be good to go. I've noticed a slight temperature drop at times but then it heats up pretty quickly. Bottom line, for the price I payed for this sauna, I'm very satisfied with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy I have had this sauna for about 2 months now. I wanted to see how its use impacted our electric bill. While we did see a rise ($20 per month, about) it was not what I was worried about. I use the sauna about 2-3 times a week, for about 1 hour at a time, at 140-150 degrees. I did not notice any drafts around the door although the foot area is a few degrees cooler then the bench/ceiling sections. I am thin but would never consider putting another sweaty person in there with me! It is a roomy ONE person sauna! As far as the set-up goes, it took 2 people and was fairly easy. My main gripe is that Home Depot hires an outside freight company to deliver it and they would only leave it at the top of my driveway. It was raining and it was far to heavy for me to move by myself so I had to wrap it up in tarps until my husband got home. It all worked out in the end, but it is something to be aware of. Otherwise, I have been nothing but happy with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great sauna the heat really helps with my joints. It's easy to use and looks good on my lanai. It is 300lbs, so you will need at least 2 people to assemble it Not difficult to put together, but the directions could be clearer.

The stated EMF rating of this sauna is 4-5 milligauss. At what distance from the heater was this measurement taken?
Asked by: Carlos
It is taken at approx. the same distance as your body would be from the heaters, while in the sauna. So I would say about 5 to 6 inches away from the heater.

Does this unit require clearance between a cement wall and the unit. This is 40" wide and I want to put it in a space that is 46" wide. Will that cause any safety issues with heat circulation or anything?
Asked by: DH
You need clearance for assembly on the sides and roof, it will not cause a problem with heat or circulation.

It can be in the middle of the room if you wish. It doesn't need any support. Can you please give me more of an idea what you are doing with the sauna, that would help me understand how to answer. Thank you.

It is made in China. This is a "lower end" sauna but it works well for my purposes and was of higher quality than I thought it would be.

Yes but good luck getting this thing back in the box. You have to basically destroy the box to get it out and it weighs 300 pounds total.
