Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 years and still running From the bad reviews I read about clogging, all vacuum clog even your top of the line Sharks. I've never had to fully disassemble the vacuum. I simply twist the handle and pull out whatever is stuck and as for the bottom I take a butter knife or stick to push through jammed things while the suction is on. I've had this vacuum definitely more than 2 years daily use replaced the tubing once because it ripped but the parts are very cheap unlike my other vacuums and they deliver. I have 3 toddlers and terrier pit mix dog who sheds a lot. I love this vacuum and until the motor stops on me I'll keep using it.

I like the lightness of this vac and it moves around pretty easily, the swivel head took some getting used to but I like it. the thing I dont like and cant believe is that the suction of the tools is TERRIBLE. My other bissell actually has suction, you put your hand on the suction tools and you can feel it, but NOT this one, it barely picks up anything. Very disappointing for Bissell, not to mention one that is supposed to be designed FOR pet hair. If you want a lightweight easy to handle vac, then this would work, but if you want it for pet hair pickup like I did, you will be disappointed

Having dogs all my life it's nice to have something that works for you instead of cleaning hair and dirt out all the time while you try to clean. I lost my boy Bandit feb.10 you can't have a home without a fur baby we are going to the shelter tomorrow to get a new dog we were there last weekend for your empty the shelter but this dog wasn't ready for that weekend had to wait. But I have the carpet cleaner love that to. I hope to buy the pet groomer you have to down the road But keep up the good work l love Bissell

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed!!! I am so disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. I had watch the commercials and was so excited that here is the vacuum for pet owners!!! Wow, was I disappointed. It has the worse suction of any vaccum cleaner that I have owned, it hardly picks up my cat food that has been kicked out of the bowl. And forget about getting any hair off of the furniture, that was a joke. My Kenmore & Dyson put this vacuum to shame!! And I did watch the videos online and read through the manual. I am so disappointed in you Bissell!!! The only positive I can even give this vacuum is that it was easy to use and I liked the way the end could move around objects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again and again!!! I bless the day my Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum arrived! It is MORE than I imagined. My oriental carpet now has colors I haven't seen in years. The amount of cat hair it picked up was down-right scary! My house has never been this clean! I dusted with it, cleaned narrow places, of course the upholstery, hardwood floors as well as the carpets in the whole house. I am in love with it - and now with cleaning! It is SO easy to clean the canister - I cannot express what a pleasure that is (my old vacuum was a nightmare to empty). The vacuum is not heavy as I feared it might be, and I had no problem adjusting to the swivel action. I'm in love!

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is by far the best vaccum I have every owned. It has incredible suction and doesn't get clogged. The vaccum emptys with ease and is far less expensive than the Dyson. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser to anyone with pets; as this vaccum removes all pet hair from any surface . AMAZING!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this vacuum to use on our carpets, we have a german shepard that shed a lot! We have the Dyson animal cordless vacuum but have found that it doesn't work great on the longer pile carpets for picking up dog hair. The Pet Eraser was completely amazing! It picked up so much dog hair and went so deep into the carpet while leaving a nice smell of febreeze instead of smelling like dog when we use our other vacuum. It does such an incredible job my husband was actually excited to see how well it did and he has actually starting vacuuming which is a miracle! I would definitely recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am sitting the fence on whether or not I would repurchase. This is the second one I have purchased in fewer than two years. I am taking another chance as Bissell continues to get reviews from ratings companies. The swivel head makes it awkward to transport up and down stairs. A piece broke off of the front of mine and I have know idea how to repair it. I am not hard on my appliances and have very little carpet in my house. It does do a decent job getting pet hair off of the cushions of my upholstered furniture.
