Can this sink be undermounted in an 18" cabinet?

As per Home Depot website - "Can be undermounted with clips (sold separately) and added support" .....plus dimensions are 15x15", so double check cabinet structure for frame/carcass interference. good luck!

Are the under-mount clips #406251 required when mounting to granite (or quartz) counter tops?
