Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works We raised our pool temperature at least 6 degrees in the context of a cool summer. I would guess if there was a heat wave we might gain an additional 3-4 degrees. The blanket is well made and sturdy yet light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warmed our 11k gallon pool 5 to 7 degrees daily. Excellent product. Using the cover early in the season allowed our pool to warm up faster during the day and maintain that warmth at night. It increased the temp about 5 to 7 degrees. I would recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not of Much Use This product is what it purports to be--a pool cover--but after using it a couple of weeks, I have concluded it is a waste of money. The cover is well-made but is not of much use because it is so hard to put in and take out that one is dissuaded from using it at all. In addition, upon using it, one realizes it doesn't really achieve the purposes for which it was created. The cover is supposed to minimize need for cleaning the pool, minimize water loss from evaporation and help warm up the pool. As to the first purpose, all the leaves and stuff that that would have fallen into the pool still fall onto the pool cover--and still need to be removed because they will fall into the pool once the cover is removed. In addition, the presence of the cover makes it extremely difficult to clean the pool. And third, although it did seem to hold the pool water heat better than without a cover, one cannot enjoy the warmer water because it is so cumbersome and heavy to put in and take out that once you remove it to swim in the pool, you decide not to put it back in. And then you have this gigantic and very heavy cover at the edge of the pool that blocks traffic around the pool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks fine, works great Great product, more expensive but worth the extra to get a more durable product. The thinner sister to this would work fine, but I wanted something to last a couple years. I am frugal, but highly recommend. It cut easily, I just wish there were more instructions or do's and don'ts, I didn't do the best job cutting for my kidney shaped pool.
