Put The Super Dredger to work in your pool or on your pool cover and drain it quickly! This lightweight 2/3 HP pump will effectively drain your cover, spa, pool, basement or boat. It is fully submersible, clog resistant and it will remove water to within 3/16 in. of any surface. Our high output pump comes with an adjustable automatic feature that lets you set the water levels at which the pump turns on and off. Once set, the pump runs in automatic mode and continually drains accumulating water. The pump can also be set in manual mode when desired. Comes complete with a stabilizing base, 30-ft. of discharge hose and an extra long 33-ft. power cord. 110-120V AC. UL Listed. 1 year warranty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Traveler9546 from Auto Dredger Pump Planned to use the pump to keep inground pool from filling too full after long rains and plan to use to keep water off cover during winter. Set the auto tabs so at the 2 inch depth the pump would start and pump down water. After first use it would not start automatically. Changed depth to 3 inches and same issue. The pump was running but never primed during 10 minutes of run. Had to remove it from pool to drain pump then replaced it in pool for it to prime and pump. Still would not pump on auto. Finally had to place it completely under water (one foot deep) before it would prime and run, by unplugging and plugging back end for it to work. Since that is too deep to pump the amount I want, the auto system at this time does not work. Will still use it to pump water off pool cover this winter but will have to plug it in and unplug instead of auto operation.
