Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slides smooth and cuts sharp! I love this miter saw! I bought it for my home renovation and have used it many hours. I can definitely say it is worth all of the stars. It glides so smooth and every cut is sharp and on point. The safety features are outstanding and even after many uses it still looks and acts brand new. Very impressed and highly recommend this miter saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bosch Re-Writes the Book on Sliding Miters I’ll keep this short and simple: Believe the hype! Yes, its expensive but you very much get what you pay for. The dual axial slide makes for perfect, stable cuts. The Bosch feels half saw and half robot. I may reduce the size of the bevel lock, but thats my only minor complaint. It’s a true zeo clearance saw that it built for thousands and thousands of accurate cuts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade is off axis - machined incorrectly Beautiful design, but poorly manufactured. The blade is on an angle to the axis it moves on, so it can never cut straight. So the teeth at rear cut a mm to the left of the front teeth, so no matter now it’s squared, the rear teeth make a lot of noise as they grind through a different path to the front teeth. This is unfixable. As there is no adjustment to the orientation of the blade in reference to the axis of the arm.

The only problem is there is no light to bright cut zone, especially a problem when doing crown. Was wondering if there was an led light kit for this

Asked by: Joep
With experience and understanding your saw blade, locating the cut is more accurate by placing your saw bade on the cut line with a separate good light source overhead and partially off to the side. Before pulling the trigger, lift the saw away from the work and make your cut. I have always used this method over the many years of doing crown and other types of trim. Laser lights and other lights get out of alignment and need to be adjusted for blade thickness or the side you are cutting on. Why bother. Old timer still doing high end trim.
