Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst dishwasher ever We got the unit around Christmas. Our first call for service was within a week! The only reason we kept it was we could not believe a Bosch dishwasher can be so low quality. We had another one before and we were happy with it. We get E24 every other load and now it’s stopped working after 6 months! To add to our frustration the customer service does not take calls out of week business hours. Hey not all people have extra five hours to wait on the phone during working hours, consider some of us have a job... all in all we will not buy any other Bosch product ever

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Requires extreme care to load correctly so that vents are not blocked and door closes correctly. From time to time (2-3 times per month) there is a small leak from the door. Very hard to figure out when it may leak or why, and the outcome is that the dishwasher requires constant attention. I have water damage to my kitchen because of the leaks. The layout of the racks don't make sense to me. When it does work correctly it is a quiet diswasher that cleans well, but it shouldn't be this difficult to use a dishwasher, and I've never experienced this problem with other brands

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly quiet machine (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Now you do hear some noise of course, it's not zero sound, or if you have lighter stainless items they can shift or sing in the water sprayer, during the water cylcle but for the most part it's super quiet. Even the plumber wasn't sure if he had connected it properly, he had to put his ear right up to the door panel to make sure the water was going into the tub. Had it for just over a year now. Love it to pieces. Also a huge fan of the cuttlery rack on the top. (The third rack) Frees up so much space in the bottom of the machine, not having to put a basket down there if you don't want to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just so so We bought this dishwasher a few months ago and it has been just so so for us. We live in a very open concept home. Where this dishwasher is opens up to the entire main floor of our home. And so because of this sound was probably the biggest consideration. It is loud, awkwardly so, plates will even klang around in the machine sometimes. It's super strange because it is supposed to be 44dBA but even so we find it to be a noisy dishwasher. The cleaning performance is just fine, but because of the noise I am giving this machine a low rating. Was hoping for a different experience but life doesn't always go as planned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the wait Bought this dishwasher in late November after our other one had a fire in its control panel. Because of the pandemic and supply chain issues we had to wait until January 6, 2021 to get this delivered. Setup was pretty straightforward although we did need to buy an elbow connector for the drain hose connection, as that's not included. If I had done my research I'd have known that. Otherwise, pretty smooth installation. Now, we were concerned when we first used it because of the burnt rubber smell emanating from the dishwasher after dishes were washed. I figured it was because it was new and that it would simply wear off. After reading other reviews of this model as well as others from Bosch and indeed virtually every other brand, I realized this is a common issue with those dishwashers that use bitumen as part of its soundproofing. It was quite concerning, to be honest. However, fear not. The smell has largely disappeared, much to our relief. We probably do two washes per day so it gets a workout and after about 6 weeks the smell is no longer an issue. So, for those who figured they might need to return their dishwasher because of this, stick it out and you probably will be satisfied. As for performance, I'm very happy. Dishes are very clean (and hot!) once it's done. I love the 3rd rack - in fact I may never use the included cutlery tray again unless I run out of space up top. The cycle time is longer than what we had before with our old washer but the results are worth it, and this is one quiet machine. Yes, the food filter at the bottom does need to be cleaned out periodically (I do it every day or two) but really it's not a chore. I also keep it topped up with rinse aid and am doing the monthly clean also. In fact, if owners actually take time to read the manual and follow the instructions and recommendations it should run smoothly and provide little trouble. I see some complain about stuff sticking on the inside walls but rinse aid takes care of that. Mine's spotless inside as a result. And for those who wish everything inside was bone-dry at the end of the cycle - well, it's a dishwasher, not a dishdryer. That said, I'm impressed at how dry most things are at the end of the cycle - the stainless steel interior reflects back the heat from the hot water and helps to really dry things. Sure, plastics aren't completely dry but I can take 95% of the items out and place them right into a cupboard or cutlery drawer without using a dishtowel. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoy putting the dishes away after being washed - it takes so little time. I could say more but I've been impressed with this machine so far. How long will it last? I dunno but if parts start to go on it I will simply replace them because I like this one so much. I honestly don't think I would be any happier with the next level up with Bosch - this really does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So you don't have to (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As a senior, I have been doing the dishes manually for most of my life; I really couldn't see the need for a dishwasher. I don't know if I am lazy now or just smarter. I couldn't believe the Bosch dishwasher did a better job than I did. It is quiet, gets the glasses and plates clean, and I can use it to clean and sterilize canning jars before use. The time saved on the cutlery alone was worth it. Very happy with purchase. A good slogan for this Bosh appliance could be "So YOU don't have to".... now to see if Bosh has a device to put the clean dishes back where they belong. Why?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bosch 300 series dishwasher does the job (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Installation was a snap although the concept of a plastic threaded water connection baffles me. All older washers used brass. Having said that, the washer produces clean dishes every time and makes little noise doing so. Like all new washers made with the “environment” in mind it runs cycles up to 3 hours and 30 mins because of the minimal water/electricity use. Time however, is never an issue for us as we run it late at night and its reduced noise footprint means we don’t hear it anyway. All in all a decent unit. Just not built like they were 15 years ago. But hey, what is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IMPRESSIVE Purchased this 300 series 3 weeks ago and it has been nothing short of spectacular! The install was very simple to do especially having that separate junction box for wiring. The 3rd rack works great and frees up a lot more room for glasses etc! There is really very little for sound when in operation, extremely quiet. When it comes to cleaning it just does an amazing job, this dishwasher gets run twice a day a lot of times so it has been tested frequently and never failed to impress! We love the look of it and there is nothing I can say here that would give it any less than a 5 star rating, just a really great dishwasher!

Can anyone confirm issues with drying at the end of a cycle? Wondering because friend of mine complained about.

Asked by: Alex
Thank you for your question Alex. Our dishwashers use Condensation drying and do not utilize a heating element at the bottom.. Instead, it involves a number of dish-washing elements that result in an energy efficient, high-quality drying process: The final rinse uses water that has been heated to a very high temperature. This makes the dishware very hot when the rinse cycle ends. The stainless steel tub of the dishwasher cools faster than the dishware because stainless steel or metals in general typically cools faster than dishware materials (such as glass and porcelain). Moist air is released from the hot dishware when this moist air comes into contact with the cooler stainless steel tub and turns into water droplets (condensation). These water droplets trickle down to the bottom of the dishwasher and are drained in the next wash. Plates, glasses and cups become dry during this condensation process. Plastics tend to have more difficulty drying because plastic does not heat up to a high temperature during the final rinse like glass/porcelain does. The use of rinse agents, such as Jet Dry®, aids the condensation drying process by reducing the surface tension of water, thus encouraging water to run off dishware effortlessly. The optimal time to remove the dishes from the unit would about 2-3 hours after the cycle completes for the driest dishes.

I brought this dishwasher in February. It always smell bad. Sometimes it has modules.

Asked by: Sunny
Hello Sunny, Have to ask if you clean your filters on regular basis! Check with your sales associate if you don't know how, but it is very simple. You can also call our customer service at 1-800-944-2904 to help if this doesn't work. *EDIT* it would also be a good idea to double check that the drain hose has been installed with a loop to prevent the back flow of odours from the drain. Thank you

I recently bought a Bosch dishwasher and i assume there is a problem with the programming. All 3 programs: heavy, auto and normal last 2-15 h. Is this normal? Thanks!
