Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install super quiet Hello yesterday Easter sunday Home depot was the only store open. Also the only dishwasher they stok is this bosh and the 1k unit. So I wanted to get this done as i work 6 days a week. I had to go to home Depot 2 more time for correct parts. Being a holiday i was given some wrong advise. last person great.Easy to install when you have the right items. easy to adjust. Ran the unit for 2 full load and i have to say much better the our Frigidaire galley we had. Yes it cost a lot yes i wasn't happy about going back a couple time but 5/5 for the unit and man is this quiet. if your looking for a dishwasher buy this unit you will thank me later.

Silencieux, lave très bien, ne semble prendre qu'une très petite quantité d'eau. Bref, un excellent achat, d'autant plus que nous avons profité d'une belle promotion que le commerce offrait sur ce modèle qui fait très bien notre affaire. J'ajouterai qu'avec notre ancien appareil (d'une autre marque), les tasses à café et à thé avait tendance à tacher. Avec notre nouveau Bosch, fini ce problème. La vaisselle ressort parfaitement propre. Nous utilisons toujours le mode automatique.

Honestly, we have such a good relationship that I named her Mrs. Bosch...usually SHE decides how she wants to handle the workload - so she does it "automaticall"..but I am also very impressed, how SHE handles "half a load"..or does things very quick when I don't have time. Everything is sparkling clean and the whole process is so easu to handle...and SHE is so quiet in her way she works, sometimes (in the beginning) I started to look at her..just to figure out SHE is alive and works for me...all in all (and not only because I have a european background..) it is the BEST SHE I ever had..

The cleaning is thorough, and its operation is one of the quietest (the only quieter one I've heard --or DIDN'T hear, is a higher-level Bosch!) Minor observations: it is important to purchase a separate kit to connect the household wiring to the dishwasher. The authorised retailers keep them in stock. As for use, I found that loading the dishwasher was a learning experience: the racks on this base model offer fewer adjustments than on other makes and models that I've used. This is the one area where I'd recommend that Bosch build in greater flexibility.

When I went to install it I noticed that it did NOT come with a power cord. Nor is a cord available to be bought through any conventional method in Canada, only by special order in the US. Home Depot has tried to help, but they do not have the part and so have been trying to contact Bosch for over a week. I have been on hold and sent emails, Home Depot has been on hold and sent emails. Frankly, I don't know if it is a good dishwasher or not. I've decided that it is easier to have it shipped to a store in the US and to go and pick it up then to waste any more hours trying to deal with Bosch customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bosch Quality. THE BEST 5 STARS When we moved I had to leave my first Bosch behind. So I ordered the same one for our new house. It’s easy to operate. It’s so quiet you hardly know it’s going. The settings are great and I use the 30 minute one all the time and dishes come out sparkling. And when your Reno contractor says he has the same one and swears Bosch is the BEST then yuh know they are! I have had no problems with the first one after 2 years and my new one is only a month old. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BOSCH. THANKS

Also, our daughter bought a Bosch after she discovered that her old dishwasher had been leaking for years undetected and had to replace much of the kitchen floor as well as the side of the island. The damage cost her thousands! My exact same old model started leaking but at least I saw it in time. We are both very pleased with the Bosch brand. It does a great job cleaning even heavily soiled dishes and is extremely quiet. I had the appliance delivered and the men came exactly when they said they would and unpacked it for inspection- great service. I've only had it a short time, but so far, am impressed

My new Bosch 100 SHE3AR72UC - I washed my second load tonight on the Auto Wash setting. The cycle seems complete because the digital time says 0:00, so why is this red light and the Auto Wash light still on? Doesn't it automatically turn off?

I noticed with mine that the light stays on for a long time at 0:00.  Sometimes I open the door at which time the lights go out.  However if I do nothing, the lights go out on there own some time or other.  I don’t think it matters. I’ve had the machine for several years and it is excellent!

Can I replace my standalone washing machine with this Bosch dishwasher.? Is it an easy install or do I need additional plumbing?  Finally can I use this machine as a stand-alone without being recessed into a cabinet space?

This is not a stand-alone /portable dishwasher - I have installed it built into a cabinet space (comparatively easy to install replacing my broken whirlpool dishwasher no additional plumbing was necessary). I don't think it can be used as standalone dishwasher - it has no side and top covers and the frame is plastic and a little flimsy.

Does this have a dry cycle? Heated dry?

It does but it sucks, the dishwasher seals tightly and the dishes are always still wet after the drying cycle. . Overall this is not a great dishwasher, our old junky Kenmore cleaned better. We got rid of this dishwasher within 6 months of buying it.
