Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gravity Rise Stand Collapsed Bought the saw for working on decks and outdoors, was great for the first couple of months until the front "J" Support bent in half from the weight of the saw. No replacement parts available to change just the single piece I need, instead have to purchase and entire new stand!!! Too bad because otherwise this saw is excellent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Front legs bent in half The saw itself is very nice but the stand buckled in the fold up position. Just the weight of the saw made it do this. Not a professional grade stand. Even better is I can not find anyplace to buy just a replacement front legs.

The most important benefit of any table saw stand is the ideal table height. Working at the ideal height is safer and gives you the proper leverage and body position for making cuts. Using an ordinary table or even a miter saw stand has your work up too high- with no downward pressure that you get from a lower table height. I settled on the Bosch over the Dewalt because I felt the outrigger feet featured on the Dewalt could become a tripping hazard. My Dewalt saw did require drilling holes on the Bosch platform but I managed to make a tight connection. I'm pleased with outcome and hope to get many years of use. A miter saw stand is next and I'll probably choose Bosch again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for a shop with limited space Had this stand with the table saw for 3 years. Stand is well balanced and sturdy. Does not wobble or move when sawing.

Excellent product easy to raise and lower, takes up minimal storage space. Inserting the ends of the upper cross bar into the lower cross bar during assembly was challenging. Apply lubrication to the tubes before starting this step. Product could be improved. When the folded stand is lowered to a horizontal position the frame rests on the pavement, possibly scraping the powder finish. It would be better if the stand rested on the wheels in this position.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible design, crumpled in days I spent good money on a quality job site table saw combo and within days the tube to hold the saw in storage started to collapse. After a week of use it was unusable. And after many attempts to contact support they never could even give me a part number for replacing it. The new models have a better bracing leg so I know I'm not alone but now I'm switching brands because of the lack of support Bosch has given me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stand overall until it broke The stand works well, it folds up nicely and is easy to move around and setup. Recently a weld broke making the stand unusable. Replacement parts are not available. I'll have to place my saw on a stationary stand until I can afford to replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenience and utility! I initially bought a Bosch mitre saw but needed a stand. Bought the Bosch gravity-rise stand and it allows me to move the saw where needed. I then bought a Bosch table saw and bought another Bosch gravity-rise stand for it due to the convenience and ease I move the mitre saw. The stand folds with ease, stores in minimal space with the saw on it. Great tool! Great convenience! Gives me much greater utility for the use of both saws!

Will the new milwaukee cordless table saw fit on this stand

Asked by: nascar28
It will fit with some minor modifications to both the saw and the stand. On the stand, you are able to use two of the pre-drilled "C" holes that are templated for the Craftsman 21830. On the saw itself, I unscrewed the black rubber footings on each corner and widened the holes with a 1/4" drill bit to accommodate the bolts that came with the stand. Widen the holes on all four corners (both the metal and the rubber feet). Then, you need to drill two new 1/4" holes on the other side of the Bosch stand near the pre-drilled "H" holes. Once you have everything lined up and drilled, the saw will mount perfectly with the bolts, washers, and lock nuts that came with the stand.

I'm wondering if my R4516 Ridgid table would fit on this stand? (with some modification of course)

Asked by: Jeff
I'm sure you can make it fit. I put a Delta Shop saw on mine and only had to drill one extra hole. That has to be the biggest saw ever attached to this thing. It's a good sturdy stand that works perfectly for me.

will it work with a Chicago Elect table saw?

will it work with a Chicago Elect table saw?
Asked by: robert
I'm not sure but since Chicago Electric tools are usually just a knockoff of Delta or similar, I'm sure it will work. With some saws you have to drill additional holes in the frame as per Bosch's instruction. Doesn't harm stand or weaken it.
