How in the world anyone can design something so illogical? We have many product like this in the market that has not extensions into the toilet from tank attachment, and leaks even with the right gasket., just because there the winged nut design.

It looks like a perfect replacement, but I can't get it to seal to the tank. I have tried everything short of filling the entire joint with silicone to stop the leak but that may be what I have to do to make it work or else replace the complete toilet. Before you ask, I know that there are no cracks in the porcelain as my old fixture leaked around the clapper itself and not the base. I wish I could give a glowing recommendation, but it simply isn't the case. Chris

will this valve fit a Universal Rundle Toilet model 4007

will this valve fit a Universal Rundle Toilet model 4007
Asked by: jim
Thank you for your message. As this item is Manufactured for Briggs Toilets and As Universal Rundle has been out of business for over 10 years, we really are not confident that the two brands will mesh up as well as we'd like. there is no detail on either of the Toilets that will ensure that it will work, so we would not recommend trying this. Sorry but we don't think it will fit.

Thank you for your message. According to the Specs for the Toilet Model 6085, you would require the flush Valve B360520. Therefore, this Brass Model will not work. Thank you!

My toilet won't flush, has water but won't go down.
Asked by: Mick
Hi Mick. Thank you for your question. If you mean that the water will not come out of the tank when the lever is pushed, then it could be that the chain that connects the lever to the flush valve is too long and needs to be shortened inside the tank. If the tank is flushing, water is going into the bowl, then you have a clog further down in the drain or something is blocking the flow from inside the bowl. If it is from inside the toilet bowl, there is a tool you can use to help remove this blockage. It is called a Toilet Drain Snake: https://www.homedepot.com/s/toilet%2520drain%2520snake?NCNI-5 Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC
