Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job very well for cost Worked well behind our Husqvarna lawn mower. Dethatched 5 plus acres with excellent results. Definitely needs two large bricks for weight as recommended by manufacturer. Handled irregular terrain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted I wanted to dethatch my yard which is about 1/2 acre. I used this unit and it worked perfectly. Only problem I had was a nut came loose - This was my fault as I installed the wrong type bolt. I even used it on a section that had no grass to loosen the soil before planting some there worked as a mini cultivator as well..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice unit. This dethatcher is simply awesome! I haven't dethatched my yard in 10 years. It pulled up so much thatch I was shocked. Takes about 30 mins or so to put together with a couple wrenches. Pretty easy. The price is beyond amazing and the quality is right in lar too. Definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tow behind dethatcher I had a lot of moss in my lawn, I went over it a couple of time with the dethatcher then some grass seed and it has now gone. This machine is well built. Since buying this one I have seen them cheaper but I do not know if they are the same quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lawn Dethatcher The assembly directions are extremely difficult to follow and there were two crucial bolts missing which, given the assembly illustration and description of the nuts and bolts, was very difficult to determine which ones to get. Very frustrating!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hautement satisfait avec l'utilisation initiale Après quelques session, très satisfait du produit. Un bon ajustement au préalable s'impose ainsi que de maintenir une surveillance. En bref, l'utiliser selon les recommandations du fabricant. Très content de mon achat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended Wasn't holding my breath for $60, but this thing works a treat. Instructions aren't the best and at one point self contradictory but really it's not that hard to figure out assembly. Recommended!

I have one to be delivered in the next day or 2. What size are the cinder blocks that can sit on the tray?

Asked by: Cappy
Regular cinder blocks fit ok.  I use sandbags

Will this work well on a John Deere E130 ? The JD one is more than double the price...

Asked by: mark1969
Works well on my Husqvarna 25 horse lawn tractor - all you need is a flat flange with a pin hole. Two cement bricks hard wired to the top - we dethatch over 5 acres of grass and pasture.

Looking for attachment for atv or tractor, to do a laneway gravel,,is the item i looking at just for earth and lawns,,,can u direct me to something that will toss up my gravel in laneway

Asked by: kurt
A dethatcher would not be suitable for use in gravel. Perhaps you are looking for a box scraper with a scarifier bar? These are often used on driveways to level gravel. You will need a sleeve hitch on your tractor or ATV, but recommend looking into the BS38BH Box Scraper for this purpose
