Brinly's dethatcher kit for sweepers has two rows of individually flexing tines (24 total) that gently but thoroughly comb thatch and clippings up out of the lawn for easy collection. When not in use, simply lock the dethatcher in the tines up position; no need to remove it when sweeping up leaves.

  1. Individual tines are secured by safety wires and will hold the tine to prevent damage to mower blade in the event of breakage

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Double check the model number I purchased a new sweeper and the dethatcher kit at the same time. The website said that this dethatcher kit fits the sweeper. However it does not. This dethatcher kit fits the older version of the sweeper. Apparently the model number of the sweeper has not changed between the new version and older version.
