Replaced a cheapy Broan that sounded like a jet engine taking off even on the lowest setting but even without that as the comparison this is so much more refined. The lights are bright and the smart off/on that remembers your last settings is clever. Accidentally ordered two because the website was acting up but Home Depot was good about the return. Only downside was the install - I’m pretty handy but this was a beast and still isn’t totally flush. The one person ez install is a joke.

REALLY!!!!!!. I guess it would the electronics that control the display. Doesn't seem like rocket science to me. A lot of money for item they can't seem to figured out to how to fix.

Note, the brackets are inside the unit, but not easy to find. You cannot see them until you remove the cover.

Will this still work well for the smoke if vented to inside as the hole in the top of my cupboard vented outside is only 5 1/2 inches round.

Regular Cleaning -- In the past with another Brown model, I could remove the rotor and clean it.  Can this be done with this model?

No, it is not recommended to remove the blower wheels for cleaning. They should be cleaned in place. Shut the power off to the unit through the breaker, and wash in place with hot, soapy water. Rinse well. Make sure wheel(s) are 100% dry before reconnecting the power.
