Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not Deliver I bought this unit few months ago based on CFM capacity and sound level. I am afraid that the product was disappointing on both fronts. It was difficult to install. It took a good 3-4 hours to install. The reason was lack of ingenuity in the design as well as dismal instructions. I would not mind it, as I was not expecting to do this every year. After installation, the fan is quite noisy and the suction is not up-to-par with the cheap and old fan that I had in the kitchen. The only reason that I did not bring it back to the store was the number of hours that I put into the installation and I was exhausted. Basically, I gave up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zero star We bought it a couple of years ago and then installed it when we redid our kitchen. Although it looks pretty, the lights keep burning out, they are hard to change, it is difficult to clean the vents since you have to use a screwdriver to remove the vent shield, it is very VERY LOUD even on it's quietest setting. Avoid buying this at all costs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zero star I'll be brief - poor construction -not serviceable without total overhaul (assembly is easy but don't take it apart after initial install you won't get it back together) - grease collection components degrade very quickly (3-6 months then require replacment) -replacement parts are not available or very sparse - poor interface (button decals rub off after less than two weeks after install) -the fan is extremely loud on all settings although it does move a lot of air -

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Installation is a Nightmare! I would never recommend this rangehood to anyone. My husband and I I are pretty experienced with home improvements and this thing took forever to install. There is no template provided to use as a cutting guide to install the provided duct connectors. What is provided is an instruction manual with incorrect measurements for everything you would need to cut a hole for. We are measure 4 times, cut once type people and everything we marked based on the instruction manual did not match when we measured it on the hood itself, wasting hours of time to correct. The instructions themselves are very unclear with poor pictures. The thing weighs a ton and has to be screwed on manually while being held in place. Unless you have two professional weight-lifters you will kill your arms and back. And you can't use an electric drill, because the crevices where the screws fit are so tiny (POOR DESIGN) that a screw-driver barely fits in. You need the strength of an ox and the hands of a newborn baby to manipulate this thing into place and then actually be able to screw it in and hook up the electrical. Then when you're almost done the bottom cover had two screw-holes that would not line up. Most of this issue is again in the terrible design, that has screws so close to the edge of the hood that SITSAGAINST THE WALL that there is no screwdriver on the planet that would actually fit into the space. Once it was installed some of the silver paint was already chipping off a button on the control panel. But this thing is never coming down again because it was such a nightmare to secure to the cupboard in the first I have never heard of a rangehood being so terrible to install, this is supposed to be a very easy do-it-yourself, but the terrible design of this model makes it nearly impossible!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic Fail : Busted Light I bought this November 8 2019 and was installed November 20 during our house renovation. I was inloved with the sleek design. Performace was not what I was expecting. It cant handle fumes when cooking specially that the front design does not have a canopy design to trap the smoke. Lastly the bulb broke... last February... And its not easy replac.. I really regret purchasing it...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this purchase. I purchased this product in November 2020 & had it installed professionally. Within a month the lights stopped working & a piece of the front black for the button/control panel fell off by itself! The fans are loud and not very good in removing the smoke or cooking odors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A disasterous experience I bought this hood without reading all the reviews first (also the first mistake) and solely based on looks and specification . When I unpacked the item I found workmanship and design quite shoddy as follows; -Cyclone fans are made of plastic composite which is a no no especially if you are installing it over a Gas range as they are prone to deformation and melting by intense heat. -There is no primary and secondary protection befor flow reaches the fans. There is no primary tray that covers the fans surroundings and there is no baffling of the inflow TO the fans other than the conical grills that cover the fans. This means that grease mist hist the fans directly which means fans will have to be disassembled for regular cleaning...That is if they have not melted by heat before then. -At anyrate, pressed with time I went ahead and installed the unit only to find out that the speed range does not work. Fans stay at the same speed. So I went through the trouble of taking the whole thing off and exchanging it at the store with the same model hoping that at least the speed range will work this time....This was not the case of course as the second unit had the exact flaw. -Customer service is non-existent because even though I made two online requests for service directly at the manufacturer website I never recieved a call back. I have no taken the second unit back out and will be returning it for a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful looking, powerful fan I was hoping for a quiet fan and something more power than our old one. With this, you get decent power but it is very noisy. We really like the look, and I hope the grease trap system will be easier to keep clean than those mesh filters. At this time, we just installed it so no usage yet. The install is extremely difficult, and I have changed range hoods several times in the past. The difficulty is in two main issues. 1. The electrical box is very small and recessed. There is very little room to get your hands in there with the short wires provided and make a secure connection. 2. The other issue is the bottom panel which I'm sure will make future maintenance a huge challenge. There are seven screws, and it clips into the front and screws along the sides and back. The issue is that five screws along the back are right next to the wall and getting the screw holes to line up is very difficult along with fitting the thick handle of a screw driver along the wall. I had to use the driver bit seperate from the handle just to get the screw started and another philips screw driver to pry the panel from the wall into the correct spot.
