It was Installed in Oct, and after a week, one of the 2 fans stopped working. Called the company, they offerered to service it right away and have sent out 4 service requests to their agents, but they seem to be unable to get anyone to service it. I am located in the middle of Toronto, so I am really confused why it should be so hard to get it serviced.

We installed the rangehood with venting through the top. The installation was very easy using the bracket method which were included. On low and medium fan we find in very quiet. My only complaint is the 7" pipe bracket which is shown on the YouTube videos is not included?!? When it arrived we called Braun and they stated it was not included it and we had to purchase the part from a separate vendor. So we $500 for a rangehood and are required to order a $12 part from a separate vendor and wait the 5-7 days for delivery. Why not charge $512 and include the part - I would have been willing to pay. The only reason I am rating it a 4 is because of pipe bracket was not included - if it was it would be a 5

This one is a definite hHHHHHHH instead of the old rattly VRRVRRVRRVRRVRRRR... An awesome feature is a timer to shut off the fan after 10 minutes. 4 stars only as the installation was quite convoluted and the instructions asking me to reach screws that are covered and impossible to reach.

There is not a specific wall cap recommended. You will, however, need a wall cap that will fit the duct size that you are using to go through the exterior wall.

What are the CFMs on the lowest speed?

The CFM's at low speed, on this model, is 140 cfm - 150 cfm, depending on installation. Vertical, rectangular installation is 140 cfm on low speed. Horizontal, rectangular installation is 150 cfm on low speed. Vertical, round is 140 cfm on low speed.

How many motors are in the hood?
