Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase I bought this because our environment is totally messed up and I'm looking to make changes in my life that help me sleep better. I read bidets help you greatly reduce your waste impact through needing less toilet paper, so I bought this one. It works great, it definitely cuts down on the tp waste. I have no experience installing something like this or messing around with pipes under my sink but I managed to do it pretty easily. I like that it's dual temperature so it's not just a cold stream on your butt. Would recommend to anyone looking to make an easy change in their life to be more mindful of the environment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Check if your seat cover is compatible I used to have few of these in the past and, overall, was happy with the result - raised front was compensated by the low cost and simplicity of use. So, I decided to buy another for my new one-piece toilet. Installation was difficult, but what I discovered in the end was worse: - because assembly is installed under the existing seat, it was raising it to a level that pins were too short to click-in, hence seat was easy to slide off them - front of seat was raised too much and and when seated, was raising back due to a lever effect Apparently, my past, much simpler and ancient seats were somehow compatible with this bidet assemble, while newer seat types are not -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product & not hard to install Works very well and has good controls! It was fairly easy to install even for an amateur like me. The instructions are detailed and well written. Since the toilet was more than 6 feet from the under the sink hot water the included hot water vinyl tubing was not long enough, but it is easy to pick up longer 3/16 inner, 5/16 outer diameter tubing at hardware stores (found one at a competitor). Someone else mentions a good trick for attaching the tube to the pressure connections is to put the ends of the tube in hot water for some seconds. I disguised the vinyl line in some cordmate tubing running along at the top of the baseboards, so overall this system looks very good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hose leaking The bidet itself is actually really good. Can adjust pressure to very high and hot and cold feature. Easy enough to install. However the hot water hose is a cheap piece of garbage. Started leaking after only 1 week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Introduction to a Bidet My primary complaint is that 6' of hot water flex tube was not nearly enough for my setup (from the left of the toilet, around and behind the toilet, around the corner through the double cabinet to the sink). I wish there was a 10' flex tube option, or, even more than that, I wish the specs of the flex tube had been included anywhere on the packaging or online. I spent hours searching and comparing and driving to every HD in the area, finally spending an additional $40 on a 10' braided hose (for a dishwasher) and connectors. Once that was sorted, installation was mostly easy, even for a first-timer. The water pressure is amazing, it's very easily adjustable, and the installation videos are hugely helpful. I've read more than a few reviews about needing spacers for underneath the toilet seat; I have a run-of-the-mill toilet and toilet seat, and I had no issue with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never Need TP Again! First, I never write reviews, so for me to actually sit and write one is quite rare. This has been THE BEST purchase I've made in a long, long time. It is exactly as the details specify. It is a DUAL temperature bidet that used the bolts that secure the toilet seat to the bowl, meaning that it has BOTH a HOT water inlet and a COLD water inlet. Most of the other's on the market are only cold (which baffles the mind). It uses cold water from the toilet fill line and hot water from the sink hot water line. ALL the parts are provided, whether you choose to use just cold (why would you), or both. They even included plumbers tape (teflon tape) to seal the connections. I've never seen this level of detail and thought in any product I've ever purchased. It installed in less than 30 minutes and was THE EASIEST WATER INSTALL I've ever done. There were no leaks, worked as advertised and just a pleasure to install. Bar none! Two small details that they don't mention that are worth pointing out here... 1) when you push the hot water tubing onto the provided nipple, boil some water, put the end of the tubing in the hot water FIRST and let is sit in the hot water for about two minutes. This will make the tubing pliable enough to EASILY slip onto the nipple. 2) I was wondering if, when using this, I was going to have to endure cold water until the hot made it to the bidet. In the instructions, they tell you (and it should be in their advertising literature), that if you don't want to be goosed with cold water until the hot makes it to your rear, turn the hot water dial up and put the bidet on "self-clean" while you're sitting there. Feel the hot water tubing for it to get warm and then turn it off "self-clean" and for heaven sake, don't forget to turn the temp of the hot water down. You don't want to scald anything down there. Bad enough to freeze, but worse to scald. Using this appliance is a pleasure and took only a few tries to find the "sweet spot" so to speak. I'm amazed that this isn't a standard appliance in homes. The fact that I get to walk by the TP aisle in the grocery stores and laugh at them being empty is worth the money! Incidentally, if you happed to have purchased one of the "singe temperature" models, they do sell dual temp mixers and I would highly recommend it... well, unless you enjoy being jolted awake in the morning. I would definitely HIGHLY recommend this product. It is outstanding quality with attention to detail. Too bad more companies don't take their lead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm yet satisfying Though it took me a while to loosen up existing hoses and bolts, it's pretty easy and fun to install! I wanted to buy a toilet seat with the complete feature but because most seats now require an elongated toilet bowl, i couldn't get one. The Purespa dual temp bidet fits everything I've been looking for. Make sure to buy an additional flexible braided metal hose if you have an existing fixed hose affixed to your water valve!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A huge disappointment - a solid 1 out of 10 Just finished a full reno of our 3-piece bathroom. Right down to the studs in the wall. This bidet attachment was to be the finishing touch. My wife really, really wanted it. Unfortunately, both my wife and I are hugely disappointed with it. First the minor stuff: -- Not enough hot-water hose ... and we have a normal-sized bathroom. Soooooo, at the very least we would have to source the appropriate plastic hose at the right, longer length. It was about two feet short. Of course, this hose will have to take the water supply pressure, which here is 60-70 psi. So, not just any kind of plastic hose will do .... -- Second minor problem .... kit was supposed to have two large washers and two smaller washers. We had three large ones and one small one. . THE SHOWSTOPPER: The accessory fits under the toilet seat at the back, lifting the toilet seat there. This means your toilet seat -- all the way around the bowl -- is lifted off the porcelain bowl by about half an inch. Further, even when being used, there is still a large opening under the toilet seat, caused by the fitted-at-the-back-and-under-the-seat bidet accessory. When used, this bidet accessory causes all sorts of splashing out and around the toilet seat ... splashing out through this around-the-bowl gap ... all over the bathroom floor, onto the nearby drywall and, on the other side, onto the vanity. What a poor design ! A solid 1 out of 10. As soon as it was installed .... and tested .... it was uninstalled. OK, we had a coffee break first and talked about what to do about this ... Tomorrow: It will be returned to Home Depot. Silver lining? Well, at least we know what pitfalls to avoid for the next purchase. By the way, the product image, on the box, does not show this problematic gap.

How can you get the toilet seat to sit flat on the bowl? This bidet goes beneath the rear of the seat which elevated the front nearly 1” from the bowl

Asked by: Liam
It is likely that your toilet seat's bottom is recessed and has a curve or a lip going into the bowl. If that is indeed the case, the only way to correct this is to replace your toilet seat with one that is flat on the bottom. How is the water heated? Is an electrical outlet required?

Asked by: Photobiz
The PureSpa Dual Temperature Bidet Attachment does not require electricity. Dependent on the home, non-electric bidet attachments directly reflect the home's incoming water temperature.

Is the vinyl tubing for hot water os durable. Is there a risk of rupture. How an I make sure it does not break due to water temperature

Asked by: Nurashid
The hot and cold water are mixed through the vinyl  tube. It never gets that hot as you would burn your rear end if you had scalding hot water running through. We’ve had ours for a year and no problems as long as all fittings are tight.
