Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great economical option or for vacation property Already own a bio bidet 2000. Wanted a simpler model for a seasonal property (non-electrical, no tank, easy to winterize, etc.). Researched and chose the Brondell Swash Ecoseat. Very satisfied with the result. Pre-purchase info (sizing, etc.) was helpful. Packaging, hardware, and instructions were very good. Took a bit to figure out the orientation of the seat attachment pieces as the images in the instruction weren't clear. Also, there was a washer already in the t-valve (so I guess the one provided was a spare?). Good water pressure and variable too. Would recommend this item for an economical option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, clear installation instructions We wished to purchase a bidet that includes both front and back wash options, and that could use both warm and cold water. We also wanted an accessible price point. We chose a bidet seat (rather than an attachment) because we had read some reviews about attachments showing that they weren't always as universally compatible as promoted. Our actual seats were worn out anyway, and it made sense to replace them as part of the bidet setup. The instructions were clear. My husband installed one and I installed the other. I'll be honest, pushing the hot water hose onto the junction piece takes quite a bit of strength. Also, my husband tightened some of my connections. Other than the elbow grease support, we both had enough plumbing skills to install this thing. One week in, my daughter already joked on an outing that there aren't any 'knobs' on the out-of-house toilet, and she was disappointed. If you are not experienced with a bidet, take the plunge (splash?). A bidet rinse uses a lot less water than toilet paper manufacture, no bleach, no water treatment to break it down either, no shipping it to your grocery store, no schlepping it in the car, and no plastic packaging around it to landfill after (Well some of these things happen once at the first purchase, but not weekly thereafter.) I can't believe North America has taken so long to try this, myself included. If you are new to bidet 'bathroom operations', I recommend purchasing bulk family cloth or black washcloths for drying off (old cut-up cloth also works). We each have our own cloth on an adhesive hook on the sink/wall nearby, with a small bin each for clean replacements and for laundry. Once the system is set up, with a small increase in laundry volume (but not actually weekly loads it seems), it's really easy. For what it's worth, this review is from someone who is domestically efficient (lazy). If I'm not scared of the routine, you are doing just fine. Also if you are hesitating, remember the TP money savings. In the times we're in, I redirected my TP funds into a monthly donation to my local food bank. Certainly seemed more important than flushing tree fibre. Humanity-blabber aside, this seat takes some work to install, but it's affordable, stable, comfortable to sit on, and effective to be cleaned by - and it saves us cash long-term. I'd recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Swash Eco Seat A DYI installation. A lot better than a hand held wand bidet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works ok but..... Basic operation is good. Long wait for warm water though. The problem is the seat will not stay up when lifted creating problems for males using the toilet or for cleaning. Customer service method is to ignore your problems. Advise trying another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product - Brondell Bidet We have been using this product for just over a month now. Bought two sets for both washroom. Thanks to tp shortage in the first lockdown that we considered buying a bidet. Easy Install, easy use, perfect water pressure and works great. Just don't try to test while standing in front of the seat. And ya the quietly closing seat and lid is the bonus feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Très bien mais pas parfait.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Satisfait mais pourrait être amélioré.

Can you use this without hot water? Would you need a cap where the hot water connects? HD doesn't sell the cold water only round seat in Canada

Asked by: JoFerg

The nozzle cleaning mode that engages before the bidet function sprays a HEAVY mist all over the buttcheecks, which then requires a full bath towel to dry. Is this normal? Can it be fixed?

Asked by: Bo Junior
I have 2 of these seats and do not have that problem. I don’t think that is normal.

Can you "purge" the hot water line to eliminate the initial cold water standing in the hot water supply hose? Basically, can you drain a bit of of water into the bowl until the temperature is right before making the big "functional" splash?

Asked by: DrBidet
I would first drain the cold water from the hot water line of the faucet.  Then drain the cold water from the hot water line on the bidet.

How long is the hot water flexible tube for connection.  I need 5 to 6 ft.    Thanks fir your answer.

Asked by: ROLLY
The included hose is not less than 78 inches long. It is more than enough for your need.

I would like to know how you get warm water if it's not electric or battery operated?

Asked by: kstar
You have option of using 2nd connection to also connect to your hot water plumbing.  I didn't use it.  My sink and shower have to have the water running for a while before it gets warm so I don't imagine this feature would be very useful on a bidet. Embrace the refreshing blast of cold water!

instead of the PVC line for the hot water, can I install a 1/4" Female Comp x 1/4" Female Comp Stainless Steel Braided Flexible suply line? I just had a major flood caused by a crack on a PVC bidet suply line.

Asked by: Cosmin
I had to order extra line directly from Brondel as their PVC line is not a standard size. Could not find equivalent at plumbing supply shops in Calgary, Alberta

The water stream for the"rear" is way too forward. Is there any way to make adjustments to the spray direction

Asked by: Plumber 79
Nope. You have to move your butt instead. Spoke with manufacturer about this when I first bought it a couple years ago. Still working well though.
