The CAMO Edge Deck Fastening System works on most treated lumber, hardwood, cedar, composite or PVC deckboard. CAMO Edge Fasteners, a CAMO Marksman tool, and CAMO Driver Bits combine to deliver a fastener-free deck surface at a price that makes getting the job easy and installing the deck even easier. The CAMO Edge Deck Fastening System is engineered to work exclusively together. Using other branded tools, fasteners or bits will impair performance and won't produce the desired results.

  1. A reverse rake tip removes deck material as it bores, allowing the screw to penetrate the board without splitting
  1. A star drive offers more points of contact for better performance and reduces bit slippage and wear
  1. An aggressive lower thread pattern provides superior holding power while the reverse upper thread pulls the board tight to the joist and provides a clean, finished entry
  1. Protech coated - 1500 hour salt spray

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deck board fasteners!! These are perfect for fastening 5/4 brown wood decking boards using the Camo tool, they go right into the wood, tighten down perfect depth and don’t leave a large hole for water to seep into that rots your beautiful new deck!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wood Only States on the side of the box, for use with wood, composite.....no pre-drilling... I attempted to use on composite decking and since the screws are blunt heads they would not sink start or sink in at all....Pre-drilled a few and the screws left a ugly dimple...Returned for refund.. I have used the full Camo system on wood decks and it worked well, but to fasten composite ...no way...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I bought the the Decpac at the same time as this item, so I'm going to simply repeat that review here... This product is amazing. I did a more complicated diamond pattern on my deck, where every single board crosses the joists at a 45 degrees, and this system worked great. The design of the screws however prevents any 'flattening' of the deck boards, If the boards are cupped, twisted or bowed, you will need regular screws to 'correct' them as these CAMO screws pop through. They do hold curved boards very well. I used the regular Marksman tool, which does the job but feels a little flimsy (almost all plastic), but I would have definitely gotten the Pro version because of the way it operates (don't need to squeeze it) and how it's made (all metal). The regular version came with the 'kit'...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Takes twice as long and is a waste of time We decided to go with the camo system as we felt it would fasten the boards well and hide the screw heads. After completing our entire deck we are very disappointed with the quality and would just use regular screws next time. The picture below shows a board we had just installed using the camo screws and tool. All the screws left in this board are ones we found to have broken off, so the board was floating and only held by the few that didn’t break. This seemed to be the common them around the whole deck after we went and checked other boards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hiding Fasteners: Next Level I love these. I just built the third deck in as many years and use these to deliver a high end finish- even as a DIYer. If you pay attention to the details, and every board you place is a reflection of a level of excellence you aspire to- you’ll want these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to use great finish A buddy lent me the marksman tool. Was impressed how the screws easily entered decking without cracking or splitting. Resulted in a near invisible faster while helping straighten very wobbly cedar decking. Everyone how has visited has been impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camo Deck System The Camo Deck screws and the application tool are great. We have finished a huge deck and it looks fantastic. We would never build another deck without CAMO products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Screw for the CAMO Marksman PRO Tool. They work great with the CAMO fastening tools. Amazing how they hide the screw in the side of the board. Highly recommend with the CAMO Pro Marksman Tool.

What length screw should be use for 5/4 cedar decking?

Asked by: Makman
I think I used 1 7/8" screws. If you have some boards that are bowed screw a cut off price of wood into the joist and pry the boards tight together. Even with the tiny gap your boards will shrink.

quelle longueur de vis pour pour des planches 5/4 en bois traité

Asked by: Léon
2 1/2 pouces est la longueur minimale requise pour maintenir les planches de terrasse aux solives. Des vis de 3 pouces sont couramment utilisées pour fournir une puissance de maintien supplémentaire parfois nécessaire.
