Rated 1 out of 5 by from Better than plastic but not good enough Have been installing electrical fixtures for over 40 years and have no issue with saying I have installed thousands of pot light and flush finish style fixtures. While these are all metal with integrated termination box and are fairly durable, they fall short when it comes to mounting/ hold in place spring hardware. Recently installed six in a finished, loose fill insulation ceiling as a retrofit project. Not one of these fixtures would pull up to finish tight to the flat non-textured painted drywall ceiling. They all have a gap that leaves the appearance that they are falling out of ceiling. They require stronger springs or a a minimum of 3 of these springs around this fixture type. I am very dissatisfied with the way they fit. These were purchased by a friend for their home. I would not put them in our home.
